Bo is a dynamic two-way force who changes the tone of the game the moment he steps on the floor. His combination of size, athleticism, and skill makes him a nightmare matchup on both ends. A true three-level scorer, he can catch fire from deep, punish defenders with a smooth and confident middy, or explode downhill to finish above the rim with authority. When the ball is in his hands, he is crafty and aggressive, capable of creating his own looks or stepping into big moments without hesitation. His athletic pop shows up constantly, whether it is rising for emphatic finishes or beating defenders to spots with purpose.
Defensively, Bo is a problem in every sense of the word. He plays with real edge and instincts, jumping passing lanes with quick hands and turning defense into instant transition damage. He protects the rim with timing and strength, swatting shots and stopping drives, while also owning the paint with physicality and want to. He puts his body on the line, leads by example, and does the dirty work that swings momentum. That motor, combined with his length and awareness, allows him to impact possessions.
As a sophomore, Bo posted 18.3 points, 4.1 assists, 8.6 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 36% from three and 66% from the field. This season, his junior year, he has elevated even more with 16.8 points, 5.1 assists, 9.1 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 2.1 steals per game, while shooting 39% from three and a blistering 71% from the field. His jumper continues to stretch defenses, his finishing has become elite, and his ability to handle the ball and get downhill has taken a real step forward. The biggest improvement has been his ball handling and his confidence getting to the rim whenever he wants, all while staying under control.
Leadership is becoming a bigger part of his game as well. Bo is focused on guiding his team through adversity, setting the tone with his effort, and chasing the ultimate goal of holding up the gold ball with his brothers. Winning state drives him now, and the hunger to come back better next season while still standing at the top fuels everything he does. What fires him up most is simple and powerful, the presence of his dad. One look is enough to push him to another level.
Faith is a huge anchor in Bo’s life and game. When facing adversity, he turns to prayer, asking God for guidance, strength, and clarity. That connection keeps him grounded, centered, and focused on becoming better through every moment, not just on the court but as a person. His trust in God shows in the way he handles pressure, responds to tough stretches, and leads with humility and purpose.
Bo’s rise has not gone unnoticed. He currently holds offers from Weber State, UTSA, and UNT, with additional interest from ORU, UCO, and Wichita State. His combination of production, versatility, and two-way impact continues to draw attention at the next level.
I assess that Bo’s size, athletic ability, and complete two-way game give him the tools to immediately impact a college program. His rim protection, rebounding, and defensive instincts provide real value on one end, while his ability to score at all three levels and facilitate offense adds flexibility on the other. He brings effort, toughness, and winning habits that elevate team identity.
Moving forward, expect Bo to continue growing into a commanding presence who affects games in multiple ways. As his handles tighten under pressure and his leadership voice continues to rise, his ceiling rises even more. He is evolving into a high-level wing who can defend, score, and lead in big moments, with the mindset and work ethic to keep pushing his game higher year after year. Stay tuned.
