6’2, 150lbs, Class of 2027

Transferred to Springfield Shawnee HS from Kenton Ridge HS, OH

Kyle is a crafty and athletic 6’2 guard-forward hybrid who brings versatility, energy, and leadership to the floor every time he steps on the floor. He thrives on being a playmaker on both ends, whether it’s getting downhill with that dangerous left-hand finish, making the extra pass, or locking in defensively. Scrappy and smooth, Kyle reads the floor with poise and brings a calm confidence that elevates his teammates. He’s strong off the bounce, gets to his spots with control, and showed flashes of bounce with practice and in-game dunks that left coaches surprised and impressed. Add in a blistering 45% clip from three and a punishing middy, and it’s clear this all-around threat is just scratching the surface of what he can be.

After missing his high school season due to injury, Kyle made the most of his AAU run, averaging 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game on 40% shooting from the field and 45% from deep. His biggest improvement was his athleticism and rim efficiency, results of the hours poured into the gym. That grind not only brought him bounce and consistency but also a new level of self-belief. He’s still working every day to build a more complete jumpshot and continue becoming a consistent threat from all levels. With the potential to play for Midwest Basketball Club, his focus is to become a ranked shooting guard in his class and lead his team to Sunday championships.

Kyle is now transferring to Springfield Shawnee and is fired up to embrace a new environment, fresh traditions, and a chance to make a name in the Central Buckeye Conference. Tough buckets and defensive stops light his fire, especially when shared with his teammates. When facing adversity, he turns to faith, leaving it all in God's hands and trusting the outcome. That spiritual grounding, combined with the best advice he’s ever received, "Play your game every time you get the chance," has kept him grounded and focused on what truly matters.

Off the court, Kyle enjoys helping with youth ministry, learning the gospel, and training his body to push toward greatness. His heart is as big as his game and his passion. Christ is a huge inspiration. He’s already proven what he’s capable of, and now, he’s ready to show everyone else.

I assess that Kyle brings energy, IQ, and adaptability to the table. His ability to stretch the floor, attack with either hand, make the right reads, and defend multiple positions makes him a coach’s dream in any system. He doesn’t just fill gaps, he fuels momentum.

With his growing athleticism, efficient shooting, and team-first mindset, Kyle has the tools to become a standout in his conference and beyond. He’s still rising, still evolving, and with his faith, discipline, and fire, the future looks bright. This will be a statement season, worth seeing just how high he flies. Expect it to be a breakout year. Stay tuned.
