Cadyn is a quarterback's worst nightmare. He’s a fierce, explosive edge defender who disrupts offenses with violent bursts of speed, crafty reads, and a non-stop motor that refuses to let up. Every snap is an opportunity for Cadyn to wreak havoc and he never misses. What separates him from every other defender isn’t just his electric get-off or his ability to shed blockers like dead weight but his leadership, discipline, and the way he treats each rep like a proving ground. Coaches should know they’re getting: a relentless competitor who brings toughness, vocal intensity, and surgical execution to every inch of the field. From the first whistle to the final down, Cadyn’s game is about pressure, power, and presence.
Cadyn finished with 71 total tackles, 7.5 sacks, 23 QB hurries, 5 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and an interception last season. But it’s his growth beyond stats that tells the full story. Cadyn’s biggest improvement was in the weight room, where his work ethic exploded and transformed his strength, speed, and stamina. He’s become a student of the game, elevating his football IQ and mastering pre-snap reads. This offseason, he's focused on outpacing last year’s impact, becoming even more consistent, and stepping into a leadership role that rallies those around him. A gut-wrenching loss last season became his fuel, proof that every down matters and every inch must be earned. That mindset powers his mission to be better, push harder, and dominate longer.
Cadyn thrives in pressure-packed moments, especially in the red zone, where the game gets real, and every heartbeat counts. Whether he’s firing off the edge, communicating checks pre-snap, or locking in mentally, his presence lifts his defense. When facing adversity, Cadyn digs deeper, leans on his grind, and stays the course. Every time he steps on the field, it’s about the team. “We before Me” isn’t just advice he follows but how he leads. He’s not just looking to rack up stats; he’s looking to shift culture, win games, and push his program further.
I assess that Cadyn is the type of defender who changes momentum. His explosive edge play, physicality, and ability to force turnovers make him a major asset at the collegiate level. Programs looking for a high-motor disruptor with leadership intangibles will find immediate value in his game. He brings more than just pressure but a relentless force.
As Cadyn continues to develop his game awareness, play recognition, and leadership, expect his stock to continue to rise. His hunger to outwork everyone and his drive to elevate his team give him a ceiling far beyond stats. His D III goals are grounded, but his impact could carry him well beyond. Coaches take note, Cadyn is built to lead, built to finish, and built to hunt. He plays with fire, heart, and intense passion. This DOGG will be a steal for whoever lands him. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
