Miguel Heinen

@.ifuelHeinen17

6’8, 240lbs, Class of 2027

Miguel steps onto the field with natural size and presence that immediately stand out. At 6 foot 8 and 240 pounds, he brings a calm but noticeable strength to both sides of the ball. As a defensive end, he uses long strides, strong reach, and steady pressure to affect plays. At tight end, his frame creates matchup advantages and gives his offense a dependable option when needed. What sets Miguel apart is not just his height or build, but the consistent effort he gives on every snap. Coaches should know they are getting a player who shows up ready to compete, listens, and works hard to help his team.

Miguel has already faced adversity that tested him early. An injury forced him to look inward and decide how much the game meant to him. Instead of slowing down, he used that moment to grow and strengthen his mentality. He competes for his family, for his coaches, and for the belief that he can continue rising as he develops. On the field, he tries to bring steady energy, do whatever is asked, and be someone his teammates can count on. He values accountability and wants the people around him to match that same standard. His message is to stay focused, do your job, and trust the work you put in.

Miguel’s foundation begins with his faith. His relationship with God and his love for Jesus Christ guide his choices, his mindset, and his approach to football. Prayer gives him direction and peace, especially during difficult stretches. He sees the game as an opportunity to honor God through effort, discipline, and how he carries himself. His faith gives him strength and keeps him centered as he works toward the goals ahead of him.

Miguel expects a lot from himself. He wants to be a reliable teammate, set the tone with his work, and do things the right way. He is starting to hear from a few programs and has clear goals of reaching the D1 level. With his size, dedication, and willingness to grow, that path remains realistic as he continues building his game.

I assess that Miguel’s size, effort, and two-way potential give him the ability to help a college program strengthen its depth and physicality. His presence at defensive end or tight end provides flexibility, while his steady approach fits well with a coaching staff looking for a developing prospect who works hard and stays coachable.

As Miguel continues to grow into his frame and elevate his skills, he has the chance to become a consistent and impactful player. His mindset, work habits, and faith-driven foundation support long-term growth. With time, continued development, and belief in the process, he has the potential to become a strong contributor at the next level. Stay tuned.
