Cole is a master facilitator who controls the game with pace, awareness, and a high basketball IQ. He thrives on making winning plays, seeing the floor a step ahead, and putting teammates in scoring spots with sweet dimes delivered right on time. A lethal shooter who can stretch the defense, Cole keeps opponents honest and then gets downhill to collapse coverage and keep the ball moving. His high IQ and elite court vision drive everything, but it’s the nonstop effort and purpose behind every possession that truly separates him.
Offensively, he stays aggressive within the flow of the game, comfortable scoring from the perimeter or getting into the paint to create opportunities for others. He plays with intent, works tirelessly on both ends, and brings a steady presence that teammates trust. On the defensive end, he brings strength and competitiveness, fights through screens, and making sure his impact extends beyond scoring and passing.
This season, Cole is averaging 10 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals per game, showing his balance as both a scorer and a playmaker. The biggest improvement from last year has been how much stronger he’s become with the ball, now more confident handling pressure and navigating traffic. That added strength has helped him stay poised, make clean reads, and keep the offense organized when the game speeds up.
Cole’s goals are clear and team-driven. He’s locked in on making a state run and beating every team in his district, while keeping his attention right where it belongs, on the present season. What fuels his fire most is fueling a big run, those moments when momentum flips and the game swings. When facing adversity, he stays composed and responds by working even harder, letting effort and execution lead the way.
I assess that Cole brings real value through his ability to control tempo, connect teammates, and consistently make the right play. His shooting ability, court vision, and competitive defense allow him to impact winning without needing the spotlight.
Expect continued growth as a lead guard who elevates everyone around him. With his increased awareness, added strength, and steady approach, Cole is poised to continue evolving as a reliable floor general whose influence is evident in momentum swings, efficiency, and team success. Stay tuned as his competitive fire and determination give his team a real shot at a state championship rim.
