Ndiaga plays the game with calm control and a strong understanding of how each possession should unfold. His approach is simple but effective, both on the ball and away from it. He reads the floor well, recognizes backdoor opportunities, slips into open space, flashes middle at the right moments, and sets solid off-ball screens that help free teammates. He spaces the floor with intent, moves defenders without forcing action, and plays the game at his own speed. His basketball IQ shows in how he processes defensive coverages and makes decisions that keep the offense flowing.
Shooting is one of his strongest tools. Ndiaga has consistent range that stretches the floor and opens driving lanes for others. He stays balanced, makes the extra pass, and rarely forces bad shots. He lets the game come to him, runs the floor hard, and avoids over-dribbling. Offensively, he is comfortable hitting open looks, getting to the floater, and scoring the middy. On the other end, his versatility allows him to guard positions 1-4, using positioning and awareness rather than gambling.
After averaging 7 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal last season, Ndiaga has raised his production to 10 points and 4 assists per game this year. One of his biggest improvements has been learning when to cut for easier points and staying disciplined defensively by not reaching. He continues to work on recovery from help defense and tightening his handles, even though they are already solid. Another area of focus is using his body more consistently. He enjoys contact and understands that attacking with physical play can add another weapon to his bag.
Team rhythm fuels him. When the opening minutes reflect what was drilled in practice, with good ball movement, scoring runs, and defensive stops stacking up, that is when he settles in and plays his best basketball. When facing adversity, Ndiaga responds with composure. He slows himself down, reads the floor on both ends, and finds ways to impact the game through transition opportunities or second-chance points.
His goals are to raise his averages and increase exposure this season, and looking ahead, the focus is on pushing that scoring mark to 13 to 14 points per game while continuing to grow his presence and visibility.
Ndiaga offers a college program, a high-IQ wing who understands spacing, timing, and team basketball. His shooting, decision-making, and positional versatility allow him to fit into structured systems that value ball movement and discipline. He brings reliability and awareness that help stabilize lineups and keep offensive flow intact.
As his handles tighten further and he continues to use his body more effectively, Ndiaga’s overall impact should keep growing. His calm approach, understanding of the game, and steady improvement point toward a player who will continue to develop into a dependable contributor with value on both sides of the floor. Stay tuned.
