Harrison has truly established himself as one the most electrifying, elite players in the state of TX. Bringing a versatile dominating skill set with strong ball handling ability, matched with tremendous athletic ability and speed Harrison is a one-man wrecking crew. Harrison helped propel his team to a 33-6 regular season record this past season - going 12-0 in district play. Harrison now stands as the 17 overall player in the class of 2027 and #3 at his position. Very impressive as he is just heading into his Sophomore season this year!
This AAU season Harrison has progressed mentally and increased his confidence in playing freely. Harrison has started workouts and diet programs that have made him stronger, faster and more agile. Harrison feels the little things make the biggest difference. Rebounding, communicating, blocking and dishing out assists are the things that he learned in recruiting that will help the most.
Being on a big stage like 3SSB, seeing college coaches watch games makes Harrison realize he has to make the most of these next couple years. With passion and purpose Harrison is focused on continuing to elevate his skills and play to keep his climb to the top of the state of TX going. Harrison believes this summer was a huge success and he accomplished his goals of always staying focused, elevating his game and learning how to excel on the big 3SSB stage.
Harrison feels he has become a much better player by playing against stronger, taller, and more athletic players. That helped Harrison's confidence, feel, and speed for the game to play at a higher level and his desire to get better in practice everyday. Harrison feels his toughest test came practicing against 17u Trae Young’s team.
This coming season Harrison feels like he is ready to lead because he is one of the only returning varsity players with experience. He plans to put into action everything he learned this summer and to continue to put in all the hard wor. Playing in a new district with unfamiliar teams and also losing the majority of their upperclassmen Harrison knows he has to step up. He also knows he has to bring the fire to not only lead his team but inspire his teammates. Harrison feels he is ready and more than capable of accomplishing his mission.
Harrisons advice to all underclassmen is to block out the noise and play. Be true to yourself! Limit and guard yourself against any distractions.
We see incredible potential in Harrison as his stock continues to rise and his game continues to evolve which makes him a rare talent destined for greatness. We have seen early the impact and dominance he can bring . This train is picking up steam, y'all better come aboard now and enjoy the ride . We will hear his name more and more in years to come. Stay tuned to look for the mid-season update of this young star.
