Josh is a relentless offensive weapon with a complete package that separates him from nearly every other player at his position. He’s a walking bucket, capable of scoring from all three levels, but it’s the how that makes him special. Whether it’s raining deep threes, slicing through defenders in transition, or elevating above the rim with freakish athleticism. He’s electric with the ball, smart without it, and always hunting the best look. But he’s more than just a scorer. Josh makes plays for others, mixes it up on the boards, and keeps the ball moving. He understands spacing, brings energy, and plays with emotion that drives his team. He’s still growing into his frame and already exploding with high-flying ability. His transformation over the past year, from struggling with quickness and touch around the rim to throwing down windmills and blowing by defenders, has been nothing short of wild. What sets him apart is his feel, pace, and ability to take over without forcing the game.
This season, Josh averaged 31.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. The numbers don't lie, as they absolutely explode off the page. His biggest improvement was in his athleticism, turning weakness into weapon, and now he’s locked in on tightening his defense and becoming more effective off the ball through cutting, screening, and movement. The light came on this season when he realized how serious this game is for his future. That mindset shift has supercharged his development and pushed him into elite territory. Competing with Griffin Grasshoppers Elite on the AAU scene, Josh has his sights set on winning at least three championships and building deep chemistry with his squad. Two major live-period events, OTR Elite 32 and the CBL And 1 Finals, are circled on his calendar as massive proving grounds for what he’s ready to show next.
Josh is fired up most by momentum play like hitting a big three or finishing through contact with an and-one. When facing adversity, he zones in, silences the noise, and uses it to fuel his focus. Looking ahead to next season, he’s excited about working with a new coach, bonding with new teammates, and making a deep playoff run with Pike County.
I assess that Josh brings a rare blend of elite scoring, rising athleticism, and high-energy leadership. His ability to create, elevate, and deliver across the board makes him an immediate impact player for programs in need of dynamic backcourt talent with serious upside.
Josh’s ceiling is sky-high. As his frame fills out and his off-ball and defensive skills develop, expect him to evolve into one of the most complete and dangerous scorers in his class. He’s already proving it, and he’s only just getting started. Stay tuned for another monster season ahead
