Cam Blivens @BlivensCameron , 6"2 c/o 25 of Lipscomb Academy, TN is an electrifying duel athlete thatf finds a way to impact every game. Cam has speed and incredible athletism. Outstanding eye- hand coordination and IQ . Cams story is an interesting football journey. Cam played a QB and DB in 8th grade and freshman year. But his sophomore year Cam was moved to backup QB when a 4 star QB from Mississippi transfered in. The coach thought it would be a good idea to move Cam to WR and the rest is history. Not only did Cam trive at WR but excelled. Preseason Lipscomb was ranked #17 in the country by max preps this year.
As QB with an extremely high IQ knew all the routes well for every receiver position which made a lot more versatile understanding the routes because of his QB experience and having to be illusive and make quick decisions. Cams biggest improvement was understanding releases.
What coaches should know is Cam is a great route runnerwith great hands and athletism that they can depend on to make most catches that that are catchable balls. He 6' 2 with that athletism gives Cam an advantage over smaller DBs. Cam is natural leader with rhe ability to make everyone around him better.
Cam is a D1 level football player holding a D1 offer already. Being 3nd in receptions and 2nd on the team in receiving yards averaging 14 8 yards per catch. Cam is looking for a school with great academics to bolstering not only his sports excellence but his attention to the classroom with his 4.25 GPA that has a great football atmosphere and coaching staff that will help him reach his full potential. Cams advice to those coming behind him to trust the process and not get discouraged by comparing to others. Understanding everyone's race is different and you can only be the best version of yourself. Be comfortable in your own skin and excel being who you are.
