Hope is a fierce, high-energy force who impacts every possession with relentless effort, elite defensive swagger, and a fearless edge. He’s a nightmare matchup for opponents as a gritty defender who can switch onto four positions, disrupt rhythm, and turn stops into fast breaks. His motor doesn’t slow, his presence demands attention, and his ability to rebound at the guard spot gives his team an instant advantage in transition. What separates Hope is how hard he plays on both ends. Coaches don’t just get a defender, they get a vocal, physical leader who embraces his role, sets the tone with hustle, and thrives in the chaos of high-level competition. Add in his playmaking instincts and underrated passing vision, and you’ve got a two-way weapon built for impact.

As the 8th man on the #1 team in the state, Hope embraced every minute, averaging 4 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game while making his presence felt with infectious energy and selfless execution. His biggest improvement came in his ability to create for others, something that was on full display at the Pitt Jam Fest, where he racked up 12 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. He’s focused this travel season on becoming even more of a weapon, making more open shots, building consistency from deep, and sharpening his all-around offensive rhythm. Still, defense is where he shines brightest, his calling card, a fact proven when he locked down Will Braun-Din, a D1 recruit, in a critical matchup against John Handley. That moment not only sparked his confidence but proved his defensive pedigree to anyone watching.

Hope plays with ADAPT Academy HGSL and is soaking in every tournament as a chance to showcase his evolving skill set. He’s not only a glue guy but a momentum-shifter, fired up by defensive stops and team-first moments like charges, turnovers, and hard-nosed plays that tilt the game. He understands that success isn’t just about the stat sheet it’s about doing his job with pride. What fuels him most is the connection with his teammates, the grind they’ve put in together, and the chance to go out swinging one last time.

When facing adversity, Hope responds with poise. He doesn’t let emotion take over, but he remembers the hours, the reps, the sacrifice, and he locks in on his role. Whether it's shutting down a star, moving the ball, or crashing the glass, he’s ready to do whatever it takes. Hope is just as versatile a two-sport athlete who brings the same drive to the football field as he does to the hardwood. He’s wired for competition and built to fight for every inch.

The best advice he’s ever received came from Coach Samples: “Everyone wants to be a star, but to win a state championship, everyone has to be a star in their role.” Hope embodies that every time he plays. He doesn’t chase the spotlight, he brings it to the little things that make a big difference. And in a game where stars often shine alone, Hope stands out for how brightly he shines with his team.

I assess that Hope’s ability to defend multiple positions, create for others, and bring relentless energy makes him a game-changing asset for any college program. His mindset, toughness, and high-IQ style allow him to immediately elevate team defense, while his underrated playmaking adds serious value on the offensive end. He’s a coach’s dream, selfless, driven, and locked into winning. He brings that DOGG ferocity you can't teach.

Hope is evolving into a true two-way standout. Expect his offensive consistency to continue rising as he evolves his game. His defensive intensity and leadership already make him a high-level contributor, but with his growing skill set and two-sport toughness, his ceiling is climbing fast. Keep your eyes on him, he’s far from finished.
