"Keyshawn Summerville Brings his Scoring Fire to Orlando "

Keyshawn Summerville gave The Academy of Central Florida a strong weekend at the 2026 All-American Jamboree in Orlando, averaging 16 points a game while leading his team to a win over LINK Academy. He also came through in the biggest moment against a team from Canada, hitting the game-winner in overtime. Those were two different tests, and Keyshawn answered both with the scoring touch and confidence that made him such a force in Michigan. Not to mentionthe 94ft of strong defense.
Before making the move to Florida, Keyshawn earned All-State honors in all four years at Lansing Sexton. He became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,973 points, set its single-game record with 49, and made more threes than anyone in school history with 205. He built that record while helping Sexton win conference and district championships, along with a regional title. His ability to light up the scoreboard has been there for years, and this weekend gave a national field another look at it.
The win over LINK Academy showed how well Keyshawn is settling in with his new team. He led them through a big matchup, then had the ball and the nerve to finish an overtime battle with a game-winner. His team finished 2-1 on the weekend. That is an explosive scorer making his mark in more than one way, and his transition to The Academy of Central Florida is looking strong. Keyshawn has competed at a high level before, and Orlando showed he can bring that same fire against national competition, no matter who lines up on the other side. Now with the Academy of Central Florida jumping to a top-10 ranking, expectations are sky-high, but so is Keyshawn's confidence.
