5'8, 180lbs, Class of 2027

Ravenwood HS, TN

Connor brings a physical, competitive edge to Ravenwood, and he wants that edge to show up on every snap. He describes his game with confidence, discipline, and a willingness to do whatever his team needs to win. There's a fierce side to the way he approaches contact, but there's also purpose in his preparation and in the way he keeps working at the details of his game. His season has been built on making plays, growing each week, and helping Ravenwood come together when it matters.

Connor points to communication and trust as the things clicking for his team. Those may sound simple, but they matter when teammates have to act together in the heat of a game. He wants to do his job, believe in the players beside him, and give them the same reason to believe in him. That team-first approach makes him someone a coach can rely on when the game gets physical, or the team needs a player willing to take on a tough assignment.

His biggest improvement since last season has come through sharper technique and stronger confidence. The work has helped him play with more conviction, and it reflects the time he put in before the season began. Connor focused on getting stronger and polishing his technique during the offseason, preparing his body and his game for the demands ahead. He knows that confidence grows from doing the work, and he has kept that same mindset as the season has unfolded.

Injuries and setbacks have tested him, but Connor has kept his attention on what he can control. He stayed focused on his goals, continued working, and found a way to move forward through the difficult stretches. That determination gives his game another layer: he's willing to meet the physical challenge on the field because he has already fought through challenges away from it.

Before the snap, Connor looks at formations and offensive tendencies for clues about what may be coming. That attention to detail helps him prepare for the play before it starts, bringing his film work and instincts into the moment. From there, his competitive nature takes over as he looks to make the play his team needs. He wants to keep improving and help Ravenwood finish the season strong, with his family and his goal of playing college football giving him plenty of fire to keep pushing.

Connor’s physical style gives him plenty to build on when he meets a play head-on. Staying balanced through contact will let him use that strength even more often and finish with the same force he brings into the matchup.

His eye for formations gives him a strong start before the snap. As he gets even quicker at turning those clues into his first move, Connor can make his instincts and preparation show up even more often during a game.
