Forney HS, TX

Isaiah is an electric guard with a nonstop motor, a fierce will to win, and the defensive swagger to set the tone every time he steps on the floor. He’s a blur in transition, explosive off the bounce, and capable of slicing through traffic to finish with strength and control. He’s also a confident shooter and master facilitator who thrives as a true point guard. But what really separates him is his fire on defense. Isaiah lives to pick up 94 feet, and his tenacity makes him a nightmare for opposing guards. He doesn’t just defend. He disrupts. He gotta a lot of DOGG in him. Coaches can expect relentless effort, strong leadership, and a competitor who holds himself to the highest standard.

This past season, Isaiah averaged 16 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals per game, consistently setting the tone on both ends. His decision-making and outside shooting were his biggest improvements, and he’s locked in this offseason on cutting down turnovers and becoming even more efficient. The growth has already shown, he’s had multiple 20+ point performances in AAU play and poured in 22 points against a top-tier EYBL team while repping the NXT Pro circuit. Now, with the Texas Wildcats, he’s locked in for Puma Nationals in Florida and Virginia, ready to show he belongs among the best.

Isaiah isn’t just playing for the moment, he’s playing for the long haul. His focus is to be the best point guard in Texas and take his game as far as it can go. He’s fueled by his belief in himself and his dedication to the grind. When facing adversity, whether it’s pressure situations or tough matchups, Isaiah trusts in the work he’s put in and always finds a way to rise above.

Off the court, he’s still a student of the game, studying film, watching documentaries, and doing everything possible to elevate his basketball IQ. The best advice he’s received is, "Always be a student of the game." That has made him not only a standout performer but a true floor general who knows how to control tempo and make his teammates better.

I assess that Isaiah brings a rare combination of speed, grit, and intelligence to the point guard position. His defensive intensity, ball-handling, and unshakable confidence give him the tools to impact both ends of the court and elevate a college program in need of a vocal, fearless floor general. He’s a tone-setter who thrives under pressure and lives for the challenge.

With a continued focus on efficiency and leadership, Isaiah’s ceiling is sky-high. His hunger to learn, mixed with his physical tools and defensive dominance, makes him one of the most intriguing 2028 guards in Texas. Expect him to keep rising as he leads by example and plays with the chip on his shoulder, determined to prove he’s elite. Buckle up, y'all. This will be must-see TV. Get your popcorn ready, and stay tuned.
