Will has grown into the type of player who can impact a game in just about every way. His ability to score at all three levels makes him a constant threat, but what really separates him is how well he balances scoring with making everyone around him better. His deep shooting range forces defenders to pick him up well beyond the three-point line, and once they do, he uses his handles, athleticism, and strength to get downhill, attack the paint, and either finish at the rim or create easy opportunities for teammates. That combination has turned him into a complete offensive weapon who can take over a game without ever forcing the action.

After spending his freshman season on a New Palestine team that made a run to the semi-state with a senior-heavy roster, Will understood exactly what his role needed to be. He became a lethal catch-and-shoot threat, shooting a blistering 42 percent on three-point attempts while learning from experienced players. That season laid the foundation for what came next. Entering his sophomore year, his responsibilities changed dramatically as he was asked to become much more aggressive with the basketball. Instead of simply spacing the floor, he became a creator, attacking off the bounce, getting teammates involved, and taking on a much larger scoring role to help his team win. The results spoke for themselves as he averaged 19 points and 5 rebounds per game, earned Large School All-State Underclass honors, and established himself as one of the top 10 players in Indiana's 2028 class. That momentum has carried directly into his AAU season with D1 Indiana, where he continues testing himself against elite competition while expanding every part of his game.

One of the biggest improvements Will made this past year came on the defensive end and on the boards. He made a commitment to becoming a stronger rebounder and more tenacious defender because he understood those areas help teams win championships. He also learned to take advantage of his size as a guard by becoming more comfortable operating in the post and high-post. That added another layer to his offensive game while making him an even tougher matchup for smaller defenders.

There were several moments throughout the season that showed just how much his game had grown. Early in the year, he exploded for 37 points against Greenfield, proving he could take over offensively when needed. Later in the season, he poured in 35 points against Roncalli in a sectional loss, a performance that still fuels his motivation heading into the upcoming year. He also grabbed double-digit rebounds in three or four different games, showing he can impact winning in much more than one way. One of his biggest accomplishments wasn't tied to an individual stat line but to helping prove that New Palestine basketball would continue competing at a high level after losing the core of a semi-state team the year before.

The biggest adversity came from trying to build chemistry with a group that was still finding its identity. With five seniors, two juniors, and only two sophomores playing meaningful varsity minutes, there were plenty of growing pains throughout the season. Only two players on the roster had significant varsity experience from the previous year, making every game another learning experience. Instead of letting those challenges divide the team, they stayed together, continued improving, and built a foundation that Will believes will pay off moving forward.

Behind the scenes, the work never stops. Every day includes hours in the gym getting shots up on the move, working off the shooting machine, and creating off the dribble. After that comes another three to four hours of agility work and lifting while attacking the weaknesses in his game instead of avoiding them. His goals are to lead New Palestine to a sectional championship despite playing in one of Indiana's toughest sectionals. He also hopes to earn Junior All-Star honors while proudly representing his school and everyone who has helped him reach this point. Another major goal is earning his first D I offer because that would be another sign that the countless hours of work are paying off.

Facing nationally recognized players has never been anything new for Will. Since sixth grade, he has competed against many of the biggest names in the country, and those experiences have shaped his mindset. He believes playing hard and playing with confidence gives him the best chance to succeed because confidence allows talent to show itself. Coaches can expect a player who competes every possession, plays unselfishly, leads by example, and finds ways to impact winning, whether it comes through scoring, rebounding, defending, or making the right play for a teammate.

This upcoming season, expect an even stronger and more physical version of Will. He wants to continue leading his team with greater maturity while expanding every area of his game. With his three-level scoring, unlimited shooting range, improved defense, rebounding, playmaking, and relentless work ethic, he has positioned himself to continue making noise against some of the best competition in the country.

Will is a versatile offensive weapon whose combination of size, shooting, playmaking, and physicality creates matchup problems all over the floor. His continued growth as a defender and rebounder has rounded out his game and made him an even more complete player.

Will continues to raise the level of his game through hard work and a willingness to improve every area instead of relying on natural ability alone. As his leadership, physicality, and all-around game continue to grow, he has the tools to become one of the elite players in Indiana, despite class, while attracting plenty of college attention.
