Hendrix plays the game with speed, confidence, and an edge that shows up on every possession. He is a true three-level scorer who can shoot it from anywhere on the floor, attack the rim hard, and thrive in transition, but what makes him dangerous is how those skills blend with effort, awareness, and intensity. He plays fast without being reckless, pushing pace, filling lanes, and keeping his head up to find teammates while still hunting his own opportunities. When the game opens up, he turns pressure into points. When it slows down, he can still create, finish through contact, or knock down shots with confidence.

That same aggressiveness carries over defensively. Hendrix competes on the ball, brings energy, and plays with a toughness that matches his offensive attack. His improved strength allows him to absorb contact at the rim and hold his ground defensively, while his growing consistency as a shooter has made him more reliable throughout the flow of the game. He rebounds, stays active in passing lanes, and plays with an intensity that fuels his teammates. Every possession matters to him, whether it is a bucket, a stop, or an extra effort play.

Last season, Hendrix averaged 12 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 assists, helping lead Westside to a regional championship and a state tournament appearance. He opened this season against a top-ranked opponent with a statement performance, scoring 19 points, hitting his perimeter look, going a perfect 7-7 at the free-throw line, and adding 2 rebounds and 2 assists while staying engaged defensively. His biggest improvements have come in shooting consistency, added strength to finish at the rim, and a noticeable elevation of his defensive intensity, all of which show up in live action rather than just the stat sheet.

Hendrix continues to work on tightening his handles and expanding his court vision, understanding that creating for others makes him even harder to guard. He embraces the role of being an underdog and feeds off environments where energy is high and expectations are low. County rival games like Wyoming East carry extra meaning, and he thrives when the crowd is loud and the moment is heavy. Under new coaching leadership, he is excited to help guide the Renegades with effort, toughness, and accountability while pushing for another deep postseason run.

Adversity never changes his approach. Hendrix stays connected to his teammates, competes until the final buzzer, and refuses to let setbacks dictate effort or belief. His mindset is built on toughness and hustle, principles reinforced daily within the program. Off the court, he stays grounded by living in the gym and spending time with family and friends, keeping balance while chasing growth.

With no offers or current interest, Hendrix remains hungry and motivated to earn his opportunity at the next level through production, consistency, and relentless effort. Any program betting on him is getting a competitor who impacts the game in multiple ways and never stops pushing.

I assess that Hendrix brings a college program an aggressive, high-energy guard who combines scoring, pace, and defensive intensity into one continuous impact. His willingness to compete, pressure the ball, and attack offensively makes him valuable in fast-paced systems and culture-driven programs.

Moving forward, expect Hendrix to continue growing as a playmaker and leader while maintaining the edge that defines his game. With improved handling, vision, and strength, his ceiling continues to rise, positioning him as a guard who earns opportunities by doing everything it takes to win. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
