The bigger they are
Drake Ingram @ingram_drake 6'2, 165lbs, class of 24, of Webb School of Knoxville is a fearless lethal sniper. This stud can score with best out there. No matter what defense you draw up Drake finds a way to beat it. Drake can get up and finish strong even over taller defenders. That three point shot is a thing of beauty. And Drake runs the floor extremely well. Because he plays such solid defense with steals Drake is off to the races quickly and often.ore than just a shooter Drake can drop a mean dime. The biggest improvement over the summer was his decision making which has helped him dev into a complete all around player. Never selfish but a lead by example kinda guy fueling his team to but into the team first mentality. I watched him develop into a away team first guy. #ProOne is great at that and teaching defense. During AAU session Drake averaged 14.5pt, 5ast,5reband 1stl. Lady season Drake averaged 8pts,(40 percent from 3), 3reb, and 2ast per game. In fall league Drake has elevated his game even more averaging 20+ per game . Drake has set the stage for a breakout season and his development has drawn attention of anyone who sees him play. High D2 to low or mid-major D1 talent. He is not focused on volume shooting but high percentage scoring. The numbers don't reflect the intensity he brings on the defensive end of the ball. Drake has set his goal to win their district and get to the state championship while making great strides in his game along the way. This young star is confident but humble about his skills. Coaches need to know he can certainly bring incredible basketball IQ and high energy scoring with defensive swagger. He can score in bunches effectively. Reliable leader, with insane drive to win. Winners, win and this fearless gem is always up for the challenge before him and an extremely high ceiling. Coachable and still elevating his skills everyday. No one will outwork him. Don't sleep on this guy.
