Grant may not be the flashiest player on the floor, but he is the kind of player every coach wants on his team. His value comes from doing the things that help teams win. He is a lethal shooter who can catch and fire with confidence, stretching defenses and making opponents pay when they lose track of him. Just as important is the energy and intensity he brings every time he steps on the court. Grant has built a reputation as a player who works hard, competes hard, and never takes possessions off. Whether he is chasing loose balls, making hustle plays, defending, or hitting an open shot, he consistently finds ways to impact the game beyond what shows up in the scoring column.

Being part of successful programs at both the high school level and with MN Stark Elite has helped shape Grant's understanding of winning basketball. Those experiences have taught him that championships and deep postseason runs are often decided by the little things. Making the extra effort play, communicating on defense, moving without the ball, and accepting whatever role is needed are all parts of winning that Grant has embraced. He understands that not every player has to be the leading scorer to make a major impact. Sometimes the most valuable contributions come from doing the small things that help the team succeed.

During the high school season, Grant averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while helping his team continue a strong run of success. While the numbers may not jump off the page, they do not tell the full story of his season. Grant embraced the role his team needed him to play and focused on doing whatever helped the group win games. Throughout the year, he had several strong performances and continued finding ways to contribute. Once the school season ended, he wasted little time getting back to work. He spent time in the gym with coaches and teammates, putting in extra work to prepare for AAU basketball and continue developing his game.

One of the biggest areas of growth over the last year has been on the defensive end. Grant has always played hard, but he feels his defense has taken a noticeable step forward. By bringing more toughness and a stronger edge to the floor this spring, he has become a more disruptive defender who takes pride in making life difficult for opponents. His hustle and willingness to compete have become strengths that allow him to impact games even when shots are not falling. That growth has helped make him a more complete player and added another layer to his overall game.

Like many players, Grant faced adversity during the season. Confidence became a challenge at times, leading to moments when hesitation led to mistakes. Those struggles could have easily snowballed, but Grant refused to let them define him. Through conversations with his coaches and continued work in the gym, he slowly rebuilt his confidence and worked his way through the slump. The experience helped him learn the importance of trusting himself and continuing to push forward even when things are not going perfectly. That mental growth may end up being just as valuable as any skill development he gained throughout the year.

When reflecting on the past two seasons, one accomplishment stands above the rest. Reaching the section finals in back-to-back years is something Grant is extremely proud of. While the ultimate goal of winning it all has not been reached yet, those runs represent the dedication and commitment of a special group of teammates who continue pushing each other to improve. Those moments stand out because they were built through hard work, strong relationships, and a shared desire to keep getting better together.

As AAU season continues with MN Stark Elite, Grant's goals are to keep improving every part of his game while helping his team win as much as possible. He understands that growth never stops and that every workout, practice, and game is another opportunity to become better. Looking ahead to next season, fans can expect to see the same dependable shooting ability that has become a trademark of his game, along with continued growth on the defensive end. Coaches can expect a player who competes with maximum effort, embraces his role, and does everything he can to help his team succeed. Those qualities may not always grab headlines, but they are often the traits that help winning teams separate themselves from everyone else.

I assess that Grant's greatest strengths are his shooting ability, work ethic, and willingness to embrace team basketball. He understands how to play within a system and consistently focuses on the things that contribute to winning. His growth as a defender has made him a more complete player, and his hustle allows him to impact games in multiple ways. He brings value on both ends of the floor and continues to improve through hard work and repetition.

Grant is the type of player who makes teams better because of his attitude, effort, and commitment to improvement. His shooting creates spacing, his defensive growth adds versatility, and his team-first mindset makes him easy to play with. As he continues building confidence and expanding his overall game, expect him to become an even bigger factor on both ends of the floor.
