Brody is a prolific three-level scorer and rebounding machine—Brody beings energy and leadership with a winning swagger. Brody has a beautiful touch from three lands with unlimited range. But he loves to get on the seams and create for himself and his teammates. Brody has the IQ and court vision to establish himself as an excellent passer looking to fuel his teammates with easy opportunities. The best part is Brody understands the value of tenacious defense.

This past season, Brody averaged 10 points, 7asts, 5 rebounds, and 5stls per game while shooting 4p% from three. During AAU, Brody averaged 11pys, 5asts, 4 rebs, and 2 steals per game. Brody's biggest improvements have been his athleticism and his defense. This season so far, Brody has exploded out of the gate with a tone-setting run of double-doubles every game, leading his team to a 4-0 record. The most recent was a triple-double of 28pts, 11stls, and 10rebs. Brody's improvement on defense has led his team to more quick transition buckets. Brody's focused areas of improvement have been to raise his game IQ, be better at creating his own shots, and beat defenders off the bounce. I'd say he is well on his way to achieving his goals.

Brody's biggest achievements were scoring 13 points and dropping dimes like hotcakes, playing up with the high school JV against an HS Varsity team, and helping his team get the big win. The other is earning multiple WVCAT Top Appearances 3 years in a row.

Brody's goal for this season is to help his team be a contender to win the WVCAT Conference Championship. Brody knows that accomplishing this goal will take team chemistry and playing harder and smarter than every team they face, but he feels they will make a serious push for a deep post-season run, not just a conference championship but all the way to the WVCAT Finals. Brody feels the team's biggest improvement has been their ability to score more, which has already helped establish the 4-0 start and what it will take to reach the team goal of that WVCAT finals.

The games Brody is looking forward to playing the most this season are against the Beckley teams, Mount Hope, and Great Beckley. Both are very deep and athletic and will push them hard but it is an exciting challenge for Brody to rely display his leadership and growth as a player whose skills are ready for this level of competition.

What fuels Brody's future the most on the court is mostly God and His glorification and knowing that he needs to perform 100% if he wants to contribute to his team and get a win.

Brody sees adversity in a unique way that I find awesome. For Brody, adversity is a door closing behind him and another door opening before him to make something better of himself.

Brody takes a lot of advice from the Bible that elevates his game physically and mentally. Brody knows facing challenges is what makes us all stronger and loves this saying, "What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger."

Off the court, Brody is big on track and cross country. Brody loves sports as they bring out the competitive fire within, and it improves his game of basketball, allowing him to have that nonstop motor going 100% all four quarters.

Brody hasn't given much thought to any division level yet but is locked in and focused on elevating his game, working hard, and getting to the Championship game. Everything else will take care of itself with whatever God has planned for him.

I believe that this young star continues to evolve and improve every year and has a tremendous amount of potential to be a rare talent and an extremely high-level player who can impact any program. Brody is extremely gifted and is only going to build on all those awesome skills more and more over time. The numbers don't lie; Brody is the total package and is growing. Keep a close eye on this stud and the race to a Championship. It's gonna be a fun ride. We will be tracking his progress often with follow-up articles. Stay tuned.
