Cam Edwards @Cam_edwards10, 6'4, 175, WR/DB, c/o 24 of County Day High School is an electrifying athlete who completely dominated the game from his position with great hands and nice speed and power. Cam is versatile, and athletic and has a wide array of skills to make his presence known on the field. Cam I is tall, lanky, with a long wingspan, Physical and tough battling through defenders and contact to get those hard extra yards after the catch. Defensive aggressive and tenacious. Big hit guy getting solo tackles or assisting on others. Forcing fumbles and getting picks in style. Cam plays Qick off snap and it is hard to contain due to his explosiveness and footwork. Cam will give 110 % with a short memory on the last play.
Last season in 12 games Cam hauled in 30 receptions for 359 yards and 7 TDs. 12 total tackles, including 11 solo tackles.1 tackle for a loss and 1 sack. Finally, Cam hauled in 4 interceptions for 49 yards and 1 defensive score. This season Cam had 28 catches for 404 yards for an average of 14.4 yards per catch. The biggest improvement from last season has been speed and athleticism. Playing basketball, football, and running helped him elevate this speed and athleticism even more.
Cam currently has unofficial visits to Indiana, Ball State, and Eastern Kentucky. Cam also will be going on a visit to Presbyterian College in November where he already holds a D1 offer.
Cam's advice to underclassmen is to always be coachable. and be willing to put in the extra work in whatever sport you play.
