"Versatile Force with a Vengeance: The Rise of a Relentless Playmaker"

Brayden Holok

6'4, 175lbs, Class of 2026

Stevensville-Lakeshore HS, MI

Brayden is a dynamic, left-handed weapon who brings rare versatility and energy to the floor. With an 80-inch wingspan and a frame built to adapt, he can slide into any position on the court and impact the game in a major way. He’s long enough to battle in the post, quick enough to handle the ball at the two, and skilled enough to stretch the floor from deep. His basketball IQ and court sense are elite and advanced beyond his years, and what separates him from most players his size is how effortlessly he blends power with finesse. Brayden is a true team-first competitor who can dominate without demanding the spotlight, making the right pass, crashing the boards, and doing whatever it takes to win. He plays with edge, leadership, and a relentless drive to elevate everyone around him, and it shows every time he steps on the floor.

This past season, Brayden led Stevensville-Lakeshore in both points and rebounds for the third straight year, averaging 12.1 points, 7.0 boards, and 1.8 assists per game. He was named First Team All-Conference in the competitive SMAC West, earned Fence Player of the Game honors ten times, and served as a two-time team captain. One of his biggest improvements was increasing his vertical and adding dunks to his game, giving him another explosive tool in his arsenal. His offseason is focused on building strength and tightening his ball-handling for the next level. Brayden is already turning heads on the AAU circuit with Team Soil, helping fuel a 10-4 start with tough rebounding, timely scoring, and shot-blocking. He’s especially looking forward to the Brawl for the Ball in Grand Rapids and the Summer Finale in Fort Wayne. Entering his final high school season with the same teammates he's grown up playing with since second grade, Brayden is ready to lead from the front and finish with a statement year.

He’s fired up by big plays, whether it’s throwing down a dunk, taking a charge, or swatting a shot into the stands, and he channels adversity into fuel with the same mindset his parents taught him: head down, keep working. No matter the outcome, the answer is always effort. He’s received offers from Kuyper College and Grace Christian College and is in active conversations with five more programs ahead of a key summer visit stretch. Off the court, Brayden finds joy in fishing, playing beach volleyball, and building his Christian clothing company,, proving that his purpose runs deeper than just buckets and stats.

I assess that Brayden’s length, unselfishness, and ability to contribute at every level make him a hidden gem with high-impact potential at the next level. His willingness to do the dirty work like defend, rebound, and play within the system, combined with his expanding offensive bag, makes him a plug-and-play option for any college program in need of a long, athletic, and mature wing.

With continued development in his handles and strength, Brayden is poised to become a matchup nightmare. Expect him to turn heads this summer on the AAU circuit and emerge next season as a senior leader who leaves everything on the floor. His ceiling is rising fast, and he’s not done climbing. Stay tuned.
