Tait is a powerful and skilled stretch forward who brings a complete and unselfish game to the court. He dominates in the paint with soft touch and efficiency, but what makes him such a mismatch is his ability to step out and stretch the floor. His size, skill, and feel for the game allow him to thrive in multiple roles, whether he’s cleaning the glass, protecting the rim, creating out of the post, or making the extra pass to keep his team flowing. He brings a selfless edge, willing to do whatever it takes to win, and is a natural born leader. Coaches can expect a player who competes with purpose, plays with heart, and has the drive to elevate everyone around him. Tait doesn’t just check boxes but checks them with energy, passion, and a hunger to keep improving.

This past high school season, Tait averaged 10.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 blocks, and nearly a steal per game while shooting 54% from the field. He started all but two games and made the most of every minute, improving rapidly as his confidence and role grew. His biggest improvement was in finishing stronger, scoring more efficiently, and earning the full trust of his teammates. He’s focused this offseason on evolving his guard skills, expanding his range, and transforming into a true small-forward prospect for the college level.

Through 16 AAU games with Indiana Elite Team Indiana, he’s averaging 17.2 points, 7.25 rebounds, and 2.25 assists per game while shooting a blistering 68% from two, 41% from three, and 70% at the line. His AAU goals are rooted in elevating his skills and seeking out uncomfortable matchups to push his skill set forward. He’s especially looking forward to the NY2LA events and the D2 Showcase as chances to keep climbing.

What fuels Tait most is his pure love for the game. It drives his work ethic, powers him through adversity, and lights a fire that never burns out. He meets adversity head-on, confident that perseverance will lead to growth. The best coaching advice he’s ever received came from Purdue All-American and former NBA player Frank Kendrick, “Together we attack.” That has shaped how he approaches the game, knowing that greatness isn’t achieved alone but by lifting others with you.

I assess that Tait’s rare blend of size, versatility, and selflessness makes him an asset for any college program. His ability to score inside and out, rebound with purpose, and defend multiple positions gives him immediate impact potential.

As he continues to evolve into a perimeter forward with guard skills and physical toughness, Tait’s potential is sky-high. Expect him to become a leader, a matchup nightmare, and a name that college coaches will be tracking closely all year long. Stay tuned for the monster season ahead with your popcorn ready.
