Carson brings a steady, attacking presence to the court, with a game built on driving lanes, shot-making, and reading defenses with confidence. He plays with a controlled speed, always looking to make the right pass, create advantages, and keep the offense flowing. What sets Carson apart is his fearlessness in traffic and his ability to get downhill, finish through contact, and hit shots when his team needs a spark. He is a guard who thrives on getting teammates involved, staying composed, and keeping his team locked into the moment.
Last season, Carson averaged 17.4 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals while shooting 46 percent, showing he can score efficiently while setting the table for others. His biggest improvement came in leadership and becoming more comfortable getting to the rim. Even when injuries left him as the only remaining starter on the floor, he embraced the role and steadied the team. His focus this offseason is on tightening his defense, continuing to grow as a leader, and expanding his touch around the basket. His goals this season are to reach 1000 career points and earn All ECC honors.
Moments that fire him up include big dunks and momentum-changing runs, the kind that shift the energy of a game instantly. His mindset is rooted in effort, attitude, and moving forward quickly, never dwelling on a missed shot, always staying locked in for the next play. He loves dunking, competing, and playing the game with emotion and purpose.
Off the court, Carson enjoys lifting, spending time with family and friends, and maintaining a strong circle. He has drawn interest from several schools, with programs like Thomas More, ONU, Marietta, and UC standing out as early top choices. His goal is to keep improving, keep showing consistency, and put himself in position to find the right college fit where he can contribute and continue growing.
I assess that Carson’s attacking style, ability to get downhill, and consistent scoring give him tools that translate well to the next level. His efficiency, leadership growth, and willingness to make the right play make him a guard who can strengthen a college backcourt. Coaches can trust his pace control, his ability to create pressure on defenses, and his habit of staying composed in key moments.
Carson is poised for continued growth as he sharpens his defense, adds more strength, and builds greater consistency as a shooter. With his mindset, work ethic, and playmaking instincts, he is becoming a reliable all-around guard who impacts multiple areas of the game. As he develops, he will become an even more complete and confident player capable of earning meaningful minutes at the college level. Stay tuned.
