Andrew brings a dynamic mix of quick reads, a strong passing game, and the ability to make plays with his legs. He describes himself as a calm dual-threat quarterback who processes the field quickly and stays steady when the pressure rises. His eyes are always working, whether he is checking the defense before the snap or searching for a receiver after the play begins. When a passing lane opens, he's ready to deliver, and when the defense gives him room to run, he can make it pay.

That combination came through in a performance he will remember for a long time. Andrew had 285 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 3 scores through the air and one on the ground. His offensive line gave him time to work, and his receivers won their matchups when he needed them. The biggest moment came with no time left and the game on the line. Andrew took a deep breath, trusted the work he had put in, scanned the end zone, and found the opening for the game-winning touchdown pass. It was a fierce finish from a quarterback who refused to let the moment rush him.

Andrew’s sophomore varsity season has shown that this was more than one big night. He has produced 1,733 yards and 17 touchdowns so far, giving his team an electric threat every time it has the ball. He doesn't spend his time chasing numbers, though. He wants to run the offense efficiently, lead his teammates, and be ready when a late drive puts the game in his hands.

Andrew’s biggest improvement has been recognizing zone coverage and responding quickly when things don't go his way. Before the snap, he studies the depth of the safeties, the leverage of the cornerbacks, and signs that a blitz might be coming. Those details help him understand where a chance may open after the ball is snapped. When he faces adversity, he moves to the next play with a clear head and gives his team a quarterback they can follow.

That calm approach is backed by a serious grind during the week. Andrew studies film, visualizes the situations he might face, and works on timing with his receivers at practice. He credits his offensive line for giving him the chance to let those connections develop in games. A coach can expect him to own his mistakes, give everything he has, and help his teammates stay focused when a game gets tight.

Andrew plans to build on his recent performance by studying the tape and fixing the small mistakes he sees. His fire comes from the work itself and the chance to lead his team when it needs him most. He's already shown that he can stay composed through a dramatic finish, and he wants every week of preparation to make him even more dependable on the next drive.

I assess that Andrew has the tools to put a defense in a tough spot because he can recognize its look early and answer it with his arm or his legs. He understands that the players blocking for him and catching his passes are vital to every big moment, and that trust helps the offense stay connected when the stakes rise.

Andrew’s quick reads, strong arm, and ability to make plays with his legs give him a lot to build on as a young quarterback. He sees defensive looks early, stays poised when the game is tight, and has the confidence to trust his receivers when a big play is needed. His dual-threat skill set and feel for the game give him the potential to become an even more dangerous leader for Sidney’s offense.
