Gonna bring the Heat

Writer: Kevin MosesKevin Moses

Kobe Freeman @TheKobeFreeman, 5'11, 160, c/o 25 of Purcell High School, OK is a high-energy game changer. A ton of sizzle and flat. Great shooter on all three levels with sick handles and crafty moves to get those shots. This stud can flat-out go. Imagine this, he is a cross of Step Curry mixed with Allen Iverson and a touch of Steve Nash. Get a visual of that! Can really dish the rock and play intense scrappy defense. The total package. This summer Kobe made the Top 80 at Crossroads Elite Camp and qualified for the NXT Finals in Nebraska. In the AAU session, Kobe averaged 19.5 points, 7assist, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. The biggest improvement made was on the defensive end. That scary got upcoming opponents. This stud has been putting in the work in the gym building strength to maximize his game and take it to the next level. Improved his decision-making making which will establish his leadership even more.

Season Kobe averaged 13.4 points, 3.3 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.8 steals. This earned him 2nd team all-conference, 2x Tournament MVP( Verdigris Madill), 2x tournament Champ ( Verdigris Madill Heart of OK). After this huge summer run, it's going to be a breakout season. Kobe set the goals are to repeat as conference, district, and regional championships and get to the state championship.

Coaches need to know that along with his skills what sets Kobe apart from the rest is his fierce competitive edge. No matter who he faces, Kobe will bring the heat and tenacity to get it done. Determined to take respect and get that win. My assessment is Kobe is a D1 talent for sure. No one works harder to excel than this young star. Kobe just really wants to play for a good coach on any level who believes in him and his abilities and a chance to prove he belongs though he is considered undersized but willing to be an impact player every minute he is on the floor.
