Blake is a walking bucket, an elite-level scorer who thrives at all three levels and puts defenders in constant survival mode. With a lightning-quick release and smooth elevation, he rains shots from deep with a confident touch that stretches defenses beyond their comfort zone. He’s crafty with the rock, shaking free with tight handles and slicing into the lane where he can stop on a dime or explode all the way to the cup. What sets him apart is his ability to get hot in a hurry, knock down tough shots off the bounce, and create space where none existed. He’s more than just a scorer; his IQ shows in how he reads defenses and finds open teammates with sweet dimes, making him a dangerous dual threat on every possession.
Blake averaged 20.4 points per game as a freshman, adding 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists. His driving game saw the biggest improvement this past season, unlocking another gear in his offense and opening the floor for his perimeter shot. This offseason, he’s been grinding with his trainer Brandon, locking in on his speed, agility, and vertical, an area that has already paid off with better footwork, quicker reactions off the ball, and more versatility in tight spaces. He’s set on becoming more dominant defensively, learning to use his body and instincts to shut down interior threats. His AAU focus was to shoot the lights out and take pride in defense. Mission accomplished.
Blake plays with fire in his chest, fueled by the sound of a crowd roaring behind him and the belief that he has more to prove. Every time he steps on the court, he’s ready to get buckets, create space, and keep defenders guessing. But it’s bigger than the points, but about impact. He wants to be the player who changes the rhythm of a game, whether that means hitting five straight jumpers or locking in on a stop. This upcoming season, he’s embracing a bigger role and plans to impact every part of the floor, because he knows he can.
Adversity doesn’t shake Blake. He meets it head-on, even when it drains him. That fire inside won’t let him fold. And none of this happens without his biggest supporter, his dad, who’s been his coach, mentor, and foundation since day one. His advice guides him every game: “Keep pushing, even when you feel like you can’t.” That grit and belief have become part of who Blake is.
Off the court, he enjoys time with his circle of friends, plays video games to decompress, and stays committed to growth, mentally, physically, and emotionally. What drives him most is the feeling of being overlooked. The hunger to finally be seen. And the confidence that when the spotlight does find him, it won’t take long for the world to realize what they missed.
Blake’s shooting ability, ball-handling, and offensive IQ are tailor-made for a college system that values spacing, tempo, and playmaking from the guard position. His scoring mentality, combined with his improving defensive focus, gives him the tools to be a complete two-way guard who can change the course of a game without needing to dominate the ball.
Expect Blake to continue elevating, on the court and in the eyes of recruiters. His commitment to improving his agility, explosiveness, and defensive presence will only make him harder to guard and more valuable on both ends. He’s not just a bucket getter but a relentless worker with a chip on his shoulder and the skills to back it up. Stay tuned for another monster season ahead.
