Eli is an explosive combo guard who is a lethal scoring machine on all three levels with a full bag of tricks to make the show captivating. From a hesitation, change of pace off the bounce to a step quick release three-point dagger. He can shoot with either hand and he is a tough cover. Eli sees the floor well and can thread the needle with nice dimes even in full transition mode. His defense is ruthless and just plain nasty.
This past season Eli averaged 12 Points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1 Steals per game. The most motivating thing that happened last season that will move Eli Eli forward was losing the championship game. Eli's goals for this upcoming season are to win games obviously but also Eli wants to contribute on both ends of the floor.
Playing AAU for the SWV Hustle and Triple Threat Aftershocks Eli's main focus area for improvement was his defense. Eli turned up his defense. Eli had a monster summer offensively and took his defense to another level. He made a huge statement by summer's end and caused some havoc!
When facing adversity Eli pushes it aside and keeps playing the game to the best he can. A coach can expect leadership and accountability from Eli.
Eli isn't locked in on any division level at this point but wants the opportunity to play at any level and contribute to a program however he can.
I assess Eli is on the rise with his development. He has made a big leap from last season through the summer. His stock is certainly on the rise. Eli’s attention to detail on defense and the impact he is showing moving forward is a game-changer. This stud has crazy potential and dare I say, no ceiling for how good he can be if this trend continues. It's going to be insane when he and his brother MJ make one last run together at the championship they came up a little short last year. They will likely be among the best backcourt duos in the state now that Eli has come completely into his own. Get Eli on your radar now if he wasn't already. His stock will soar this season and beyond.
