Jackson is a high-IQ shotmaker who plays with grit, skill, and surgical precision. He is a true sniper from the perimeter. Jackson’s lightning-fast release and lethal consistency make him one of the most dangerous catch-and-shoot guards in Tennessee. But there’s so much more to his game than just the jumper. He’s a composed, crafty ball handler who can make plays under pressure, read the floor with poise, and set up teammates when the defense keys in on him. He boxes out bigger guards, defends with energy, and competes on both ends of the floor with intensity and discipline. His scoring versatility, unselfish mindset, and steady composure make him a coach’s dream and a defender’s nightmare.
His junior season, Jackson averaged 11.5 points, 2 rebounds, , 2 assists, and 1 steal while shooting 46% from the field, a blistering 45% from three, and 90% from the free throw line. Those shooting percentages make him one of the most efficient guards in the region. His biggest improvement was becoming a more consistent shooter and elevating his defensive focus. Jackson was often face-guarded throughout the year, drawing heavy defensive attention, and instead of forcing shots, he embraced the challenge. He played with patience, trusted his teammates, and used movement and timing to get open and impact the game in other ways.
That maturity translated into a strong AAU season with the Shockers 2026, where Jackson exploded for 19 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game and hit a scorching 50% from beyond the arc, including 19 threes during the #PHGritFinals. He scored 18 points with 6 threes in a win over Pro One Academic and proved that his game stretches well beyond spot-up shooting. He’s developed his ability to attack closeouts, create off the bounce, and finish at the rim, becoming a complete offensive threat.
Jackson’s offseason focus is on becoming stronger, more athletic, and a more dynamic playmaker. He’s elevating his ability to create, not just score, wanting to control tempo, initiate offense, and punish defenders in more ways. He describes his game as consistent and skilled, and that shows in everything he does, from shot mechanics to floor awareness to defensive communication.
Heading into his senior season, Jackson is fired up by the competition. He lives for the intensity of school ball, loves the atmosphere, and cherishes every moment of being in the fight with his team. He’s motivated by the challenge of playing beyond high school and continues to train with that next level in mind. When facing adversity, he trusts his coaches, his teammates, and the work he’s poured in over the years. The best advice he’s received is, " Believe in yourself, and never turn down a shot you’ve earned."
Off the court, Jackson values time with family and friends and lives life with balance and gratitude. But when it’s time to compete, he flips the switch and locks in.
I assess that Jackson is an elite shooter with a complete guard skill set. His footwork, feel for the game, and defensive toughness pair perfectly with his scoring ability. He’s an unselfish teammate who makes winning plays and competes with mature confidence.
With a consistent jumper, growing off-the-dribble arsenal, and team-first mentality, Jackson is built for the next level. Coaches looking for a high-efficiency guard who can score, lead, and elevate those around him need to take notice. His senior season is poised to be special. Stay tuned.
