Gabe is a smooth shooter with a calm confidence to his game that’s beginning to blossom. He is lethal from beyond the arc, where he knocks down shots with consistency and poise at a blistering 40% efficiency rate that speaks for itself. His ability to step up and become the second-leading scorer on his team shows he's learning how to take on more responsibility and leadership. Gabe can put it on the floor when needed, and his improved ball handling and quicker release give him more options when defenses close out. While he’s still developing defensively and looking to build more speed, there’s a quiet fire behind his game, a drive to grow and prove that he belongs in bigger conversations. He is playing with a xhip on his shoulder with something to prove. The foundation is there, and what makes Gabe different is that he knows it’s just the beginning.
This past season, Gabe averaged 10.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while shooting 80% from the free throw line and 40% from long distance. He added 0.6 blocks and 0.4 steals per game, showing flashes of impact across the board. His biggest improvement was his attacking mindset, driving to the rim more often, handling the ball under pressure, and stepping into his three-point shot with more confidence. Those steps are helping him shape into a more complete scoring guard. His offseason focus now turns to increasing his speed, building a stronger defensive presence, and tightening his handle even more so he can create off the bounce more effectively.
Even without an AAU team at the moment, Gabe is focused on getting better every day and is hoping to find the right fit to gain experience and exposure this summer. He wants to be known, not for flash or hype, but for what he brings to the game. That quiet hunger to prove himself, to make his name known, and to earn recognition from college coaches is what fuels him. Through every up and down, he leans on the work he’s put in and, more importantly, on his faith. He trusts God with the rest, letting his belief carry him through. Off the floor, he enjoys golf, work, and church events, showing maturity beyond the stat sheet.
I assess that Gabe has the tools that matter: confidence, feel, and work ethic. His shooting will always give him value, but it’s his willingness to grow and do the hard things, like developing strength, defensive presence, and speed, that will set him apart. With continued growth and the right coaching, he can become a reliable scoring guard and spark plug at the college level.
Expect Gabe to continue rising as he adds strength to his frame and evolves his all-around game. His scoring ability gives him early impact potential, and with each step forward, he’s proving he’s ready for more. The next season could be the one where everything clicks, and when it does, those who believed early will be glad they did.
