In limited varsity action as a freshman, he still averaged two touchdowns, two interceptions, and five to six tackles per game, proof that he belongs on the big stage. The biggest improvement in his game has been his speed, which has evolved into a real weapon over the offseason. Being placed on varsity as a freshman lit a fire in him, driving him to outwork everyone around him. His offseason focus is locked in on attending camps, tightening his craft, and setting the stage for a dominant sophomore season.
