Tight End | Long & Short Snapper
Every time he lines up, he brings something most can’t, size, skill, and silent dominance. With a big-bodied frame and rock-solid hands, Brody is a reliable, physical tight end who does the dirty work and makes the tough catches. But what separates him from the rest at his position is his versatility, just as impactful as a long or short snapper, he gives coaches multiple weapons in one player. He understands spacing, has soft hands in traffic, and knows how to seal off defenders and open up lanes. Coaches can expect grit, coachability, and a team-first motor every time he’s on the field. He’s the type of player who gives your offense a safety valve and your special teams a backbone.
After adding 30 pounds between January and April, Brody is now working hard to improve his speed and overall speed, already showing major progress. Stats don’t always show the full story, especially for players asked to block, move the chains, and quietly control the edge, but his biggest improvements this past season have been his strength, reliability, and football IQ. He’s dialed into summer camps with fierce focus, attending SFA (tonight), SHSU next week, and already made spring visits to TCU and UTRGV. He even took a visit to UCLA over spring break. Air Force, UTEP, and possibly New Mexico are coming on strong, while respected D2 programs like Midwestern State, Northeastern State, and Pitt State are already making their interest known. His goal is to prove he belongs, no matter the level. He’s hungry, humble, and ready to show those who overlooked him what they missed.
This isn’t just about him, it’s a family thing. Hard work and football run deep in his roots, and Brody takes pride in doing it the right way. Off the field, he’s grounded in faith, family, and a commitment to becoming the best version of himself. Whether it’s backyard moments with his dad or finding peace through tradition, those core values keep him centered and driven. He doesn’t play for stars or headlines. He plays for the love of the game, his teammates, and the belief that effort always earns opportunity.
I assess that with his combination of size, toughness, and reliability, Brody brings value at multiple positions, tight end, long snapper, and as a blocker with hands. His versatility, high football IQ, and natural hands make him a plug-and-play piece that can thrive in the right system. His impact may not always be flashy, but it’s the kind that wins games and builds trust with coaches.
He’s still evolving. With continued gains in speed and agility, Brody’s stock is only going to rise. He checks all the boxes: smart, tough, physical, versatile. Whether it's D1 or D2, the right program is going to get a dependable, gritty competitor who gives everything he's got and makes his presence felt. He may be under-recruited now, but don’t be surprised when he becomes one of the best pickups of the class. Stay tuned for a statement season ahead.
