"The Two-Way Difference Maker With Unlimited Range"

Bleu Armour

6'1, Class of 2028

Knox Webb HS, TN

The first thing that jumps out about Bleu's game is his range. Defenses have to start picking him up the moment he crosses halfcourt because he is comfortable letting it fly from well beyond the three-point line and has the confidence to make teams pay when they give him even the smallest amount of space. That shooting ability may be what grabs attention first, but it is far from the only thing he brings to the floor. Over the last year, Bleu has continued to grow into a more complete guard, adding to his game while proving he can impact winning in a variety of ways. He has developed into a true combo guard with a comfortable handle, a great feel for pace, and the ability to make smart decisions with the ball in his hands. Add in a nonstop motor, strong on-ball and off-ball defense, a willingness to battle on the boards, and a growing athletic edge, and it becomes easy to see why his impact reaches far beyond the points column.

Last season at Meigs County, Bleu averaged 12.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while shooting a blistering 41 percent from three-point range. The season earned him All-District honors and All-Region First Team recognition, but his favorite moment came when the lights were brightest. With a rivalry game hanging in the balance during the district semifinals against McMinn Central, Bleu hit a game-winner that instantly became a memory he will never forget. Beyond the awards and big shots, the season taught him an important lesson about staying locked in. He learned that one mistake can't carry over to the next possession and that the ability to move forward is just as important as the ability to make a shot.

That mindset carried right into a huge summer. Whether playing with AJAM Hoops or Tiger Sharks, Bleu continued proving he could score against anyone. One of his biggest moments came against a highly-ranked B Maze UAA team when he rained in 6 triples in the first half. He followed that up with a 33-point performance against TN Impact. He also exploded for 45 points while making 10 three-pointers in another scoring showcase that had everybody paying attention. At BCAT, he used the event as a chance to make a statement. Coming from a smaller school, he felt there were still people questioning whether he could perform against higher-level competition. Instead of talking about it, he answered on the floor. He went for 24 points with 6 triples in a win over Alcoa and followed that with 20 points in a thrilling battle against Upperman, proving he belonged on that stage and could produce against anybody lined up across from him.

While the scoring numbers grabbed most of the attention this summer, Bleu's impact went far beyond putting the ball in the basket. His ability to defend, rebound, and make winning plays consistently helped his teams in every setting. Whether it was fighting through screens, creating extra possessions, making the right pass, or bringing energy when his team needed it most, he found ways to impact games without needing a shot to fall. As his athleticism continues to improve, so does his ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor, making him an even tougher matchup for opponents.

One of the biggest improvements in Bleu's game has been his growth as a shooter and combo guard. Earlier in his career, he handled more point guard duties, but as his game has evolved, so has his ability to stretch the floor and score at a much higher level. At the same time, he feels his athleticism has taken a major jump, opening even more chances for him to impact the game. The biggest challenge along the way has been adjusting to a school change while dealing with opinions from all directions. Some people believed it was the right move while others questioned it, but Bleu stayed focused on what he believed was best for his future. Through all of it, he continued showing up every day, working on weaknesses, sharpening strengths, and chasing bigger goals.

As he prepares for the upcoming season at Webb, Bleu wants people to see the complete picture. The shooting will always be a major weapon, but his focus is proving he can impact winning in every area of the game. He wants to continue growing as a defender, rebounder, playmaker, and leader while helping Webb make a deep run. Whether it is making a big shot, coming up with a key stop, battling for a rebound, or making a hustle play that never shows up on the stat sheet, Bleu wants to be known as the player who does whatever it takes to help his team win. The goals are to continue developing, get on the radar of college coaches, and keep proving he is much more than just a shooter.

I assess that Bleu's shooting ability immediately grabs attention, but his game has grown into much more than that. He combines deep range with confidence, effort, toughness, defensive versatility, and an improving all-around skill set that continues to expand every year. His ability to impact games as both a scorer and competitor gives him value beyond the stat sheet. The growth in athleticism, rebounding, and two-way play proves there is still plenty of room for his game to rise.

Bleu is a high-level shot maker who can heat up quickly and completely change the momentum of a game. His range forces defenses to extend far beyond the arc, creating opportunities for himself and those around him. What stands out most is his determination to become a complete player rather than simply relying on his shooting. The comfortable handles, defensive intensity, nonstop motor, and willingness to make winning plays allow him to impact games in multiple ways. With his work ethic, confidence, and continued development, Bleu has all the tools to keep turning heads against bigger competition and continue building momentum on the recruiting trail. Bleu's best basketball is still ahead. Stay tuned.
