Some guards wait for opportunities while others go create them, and Cooper has built his game around putting constant pressure on a defense from the opening tip until the final buzzer. The explosive playmaker attacks with purpose, changes speeds effortlessly, and uses tight handles to keep defenders guessing. One moment he is slicing through traffic and attacking off the bounce; the next he is rising up with a smooth jumper or threading a dime through a window most players never see. What makes him such a difficult cover is that he keeps the defense guessing. Defenders cannot crowd him because he can blow by them; they cannot sag because he can make them pay from the outside, and when help arrives, he has the vision and feel to create easy opportunities for teammates. Every possession feels like a challenge for the defense because Cooper plays with confidence, pace, and a natural ability to make things happen.

This past season was a year of growth in every direction. With a larger role came greater responsibility, and Cooper embraced it by focusing on consistency, leadership, and winning habits. The journey led to Utah Prime earning a spot in the 3SSB Championship Tournament in Rock Hill, a goal that represented months of hard work, sacrifices, and team growth. One of the biggest highlights came in Section 7, where Orem finished 3-1 against top competition, while Cooper continued to show he belongs among the best guards on the floor. His performances have consistently earned recognition on the Adidas circuit, and college programs have begun taking notice as offers and recruiting interest continue to grow. Through it all, he has learned the value of consistency, toughness, chemistry, and preparation, lessons that continue to shape his development.

Like every player chasing big goals, Cooper has faced adversity along the way. The challenge was learning how to remain steady through the highs and lows that come with competition. Not every game goes perfectly and not every shot falls, but he learned to trust his work, stay confident, and respond the right way regardless of results. That mindset has become one of his greatest strengths. While others may allow struggles to linger, Cooper continues moving forward, relying on preparation and discipline to keep him grounded. Behind the scenes, the work never stops. Daily skill sessions, endless shooting reps, ball-handling workouts, conditioning, and strength training have become part of his routine as he continues to prepare for the next challenge. The focus remains on improving his body, improving decision-making, and being ready whenever the moment calls.

As the next season approaches, Cooper looks poised for a breakout season. His ability to score from multiple levels, get into the paint, create for others, and impact the game defensively gives him a complete skill set that impacts winning in a variety of ways. More importantly, he brings toughness, reliability, and a competitive edge every time he steps between the lines.
