Caleb has a scoring bag that forces defenses to make impossible choices. Give him space beyond the arc, and he will make you pay from 25 to 30 feet without hesitation. Step up too far, and he has the ability to attack the rim off bounce or score with the smooth middy with confidence. That three-level scoring ability makes him one of the toughest matchups on the floor because there is no safe place for defenders to stand. Caleb plays with confidence, trusts his game, and has the ability to light up the scoreboard in a hurry while staying under control. His range stretches defenses well beyond the three-point line, creating opportunities not only for himself but for his teammates.
Caleb put together an outstanding high school season, averaging 16.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 48 percent from the field, 35 percent from three, and 89 percent from the free throw line. As the season reached its biggest moments, his game reached another level. Over his final five games, he averaged more than 20 points while becoming even more efficient from every area of the floor. That momentum carried straight into the summer with All Ohio on the MADE Hoops circuit, where he continued proving himself against strong competition. June became another breakout stretch as Caleb averaged 28.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while delivering one of the biggest moments of the summer at the Morgantown Shootout. His 37-point performance ended with a game-winning shot, giving him another unforgettable memory and reinforcing his belief that hard work always prepares you for big moments. Caleb credits those opportunities as blessings and is thankful to be trusted when the game is on the line.
One of the biggest improvements in Caleb's game has been becoming more effective attacking the basket. He has worked hard on playing off two feet, which has given him greater balance, control, and finishing ability around the rim. That added layer makes him even more dangerous because defenders can no longer focus only on taking away the outside shot. Every improvement has made his offensive game more complete while giving him another answer when defenses try to force him away from his strengths.
Matchups against highly ranked players never change Caleb's approach. Whether he has seen an opponent before or is facing someone for the first time, his mentality stays the same. He attacks every possession with confidence and never shies away from competition. When he knows an opponent, he studies their weaknesses and looks to expose them. When he doesn't, he trusts his own game and lets his skills do the talking. Every matchup becomes another opportunity to compete and prove himself.
The work behind the scenes continues fueling Caleb's success. One habit that has separated him this offseason is training at full game speed every chance he gets. Every drill, every shot, and every repetition is performed with the same intensity he expects to bring into live competition. That commitment allows every workout to translate directly into games instead of simply going through the motions. His biggest offseason goal is to improve, trusting that consistent work will take care of everything else.
Every time Caleb steps onto the floor, coaches can expect a confident player who understands the game, trusts his teammates, and believes in himself. His confidence never crosses into selfishness because he understands that winning always comes first. Looking ahead, Caleb has his sights set on earning LKC Player of the Year honors while helping Williamstown make a deep run toward the state tournament. With his expanding offensive arsenal, unlimited shooting range, and confidence growing stronger every season, there is every reason to believe his best basketball is still in front of him.
I assess that Caleb is a dynamic three-level scorer whose deep shooting range immediately changes the way defenses have to play. His ability to score from anywhere on the floor, attack the basket with improved efficiency, and perform in big moments makes him one of the most dangerous offensive players in his class. His commitment to improving every day continues raising the level of his game.
Caleb combines confidence, shot-making, basketball IQ, and relentless work habits into a complete offensive package. He embraces competition, never backs away from pressure, and consistently prepares at game speed so his skills transfer when the lights come on. As his all-around game continues expanding, expect Caleb to remain one of the most explosive scorers in the region while leading Williamstown into another memorable season. Stay tuned.
