Daylen is a high motor gem that impacts every game with hustle, grit and IQ. Daylen is a crafty scorer who loves to bring the rain from three land but wicked attacking off the bounce for fierce finishes for himself or jaw dropping passes to his teammates. He loves fueling his teammates, delivering the pass for easy buckets . Daylen thrives in getting out in transition and pushing the pace by turning rebounds and defense into fast break baskets. Daylen  is a vocal leader. Daylen masters doing all the little things to get his team the win.

This past season Daylen averaged 13 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds per game. The most motivating thing that happened last season that pushed him moving forward was losing in the Regional  Semi-finals only one game away from sub-state and a possible berth to the state tournament. Daylen's goal this upcoming season is to do just that , get to the state tournament in Murfreesboro. 

Playing AAU for Tennessee Primetime Daylen had a goal to try to help make his team better and win some championships. 

What fuels Daylen's fire the most is when the student section  and the crowd gets hyped. Knowing that if he and his team are putting on a show that causes the crowd to be electric Daylen knows that's his zone and he wants to find ways to keep it alive. 

Daylen handles adversity by keeping himself and his team together to finish as one unit .

What separates Daylen from others is his competitiveness  and his energy . Add his leadership and determination to make everyone around him better and you have an impact player. .Daylen is willing to do whatever he can to help his team win. Coachable 

Daylen isn't locked in on any division level knowing all are tough and competitive and it's a privilege to make it there. 

My assessment is Daylen is a D2 level player that will have an impact because of all the intangibles he brings and the leadership . His energy and passion to win and make his team better  with the competitive fire to win. His attention to detail doing all the little things , the dirty work necessary to get wins. Count on a breakout season to springboard him to the next level. .Buckle up!
