Crosby is a dangerous player who can completely shift the game without forcing anything. Crosby has become that kind of problem. The rising senior out of Orono keeps finding ways to impact winning from every angle possible, and the scary part is how naturally it all comes together. Crosby combines size, shooting, IQ, playmaking, toughness, and nonstop hustle into a game that keeps getting more complete every single time he steps on the floor.

Crosby made it clear from the start that his mentality revolves around doing whatever it takes to help his team win. Whether that means diving on the floor, knocking down shots, making the extra pass, creating offense for teammates, or battling defensively, his focus never drifts from the bigger picture. That team-first mentality jumps out immediately because he plays with purpose every possession instead of chasing stats or forcing moments.

What makes his game especially tough to guard is the way he combines elite spot-up shooting with high-level playmaking for his size. Defenders can’t simply run him off the line because he’s fully capable of attacking downhill, making the right read, and creating easy opportunities for teammates once the defense shifts toward him. That versatility has turned him into a matchup nightmare because he’s equally comfortable spacing the floor or operating as a creator with the ball in his hands.

That complete offensive package was on full display during the Comets Shootout with Minnesota Select Jeff, where Crosby absolutely caught fire. He averaged 15.4 points, 6.1 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game while shooting a scorching 55% from deep and raining in 11 triples over the weekend. Once he started getting downhill consistently and attacking the rim, everything else began opening up offensively. Defenders were forced to collapse, teammates created strong perimeter looks for him, and Crosby punished defenses every time they gave him daylight from outside.

As dangerous as his scoring can become, the area of his game he takes the most pride in is passing. Crosby genuinely enjoys creating offense for teammates and finding ways to keep everyone involved. Whether it’s a simple read, a sharp extra pass, or a flashy no-look dime that catches the defense sleeping, he loves making winning plays that lead directly to points on the board. That unselfishness, along with his offensive skill set, makes him incredibly valuable because he impacts the game without needing to dominate the ball constantly.

One of the biggest improvements in Crosby’s game this past season came with his ball-handling and ability to bring the ball up comfortably at 6’5. Developing as a bigger guard capable of handling pressure and initiating offense added another dangerous layer to his game. That improvement has opened up even more opportunities for him offensively because now defenses have to respect him both on and off the ball.

What fuels Crosby every night circles back to one thing: helping his team win. If the game calls for tough defense, he embraces it. If his team needs perimeter shooting, he’s ready. If teammates need somebody to create opportunities offensively, he takes pride in doing that, too. That willingness to impact every area of the game is exactly why his motor stays running possession after possession.

Heading into the rest of the AAU season and the offseason, Crosby already knows where his attention is going next—the weight room. Getting stronger, faster, and more explosive remains a major priority as he continues preparing for another leap heading into next season. His goal is to continue evolving into the most complete version of himself possible while proving his game translates at higher levels.

When college coaches pull up to watch Crosby, they’re going to see a versatile weapon that competes with nonstop effort and impacts winning in multiple ways. They’re going to see elite shooting, smart decision-making, passing ability, defensive effort, toughness, and a player that genuinely embraces doing all the little things that help teams succeed. Most importantly, they’re going to see somebody whose game still feels like it’s only scratching the surface of where it can go.

I assess that Crosby is an extremely fierce, versatile player with size, perimeter shooting, passing instincts, and high basketball IQ. His ability to stretch the floor while also creating offense for teammates gives him tremendous offensive value. The improvement in his handles and comfort operating with the ball makes his potential even more interesting moving forward.

Crosby’s versatility and team-first mentality make him a player coaches are going to continue paying attention to. The combination of shooting efficiency, playmaking ability, positional size, and nonstop effort translates extremely well to higher levels. As he continues adding strength and expanding offensively, Crosby has all the tools to become a very impactful college player capable of affecting winning in a variety of ways. Stay tuned.
