Brandon is a master playmaker with the ball in his hands, an elite floor general who sees the game two steps ahead. He’s a dazzling passer with surgical precision, breaking down defenses with his reads, timing, and vision. Every possession runs smoother when Brandon is in control. With a fierce handle and calm composure, he navigates tight spaces and delivers pinpoint dimes like a seasoned pro. He can pull up on a dime from any level, midrange, deep three, or even off movement, and he’s efficient while doing it. Defenders are forced to pick their poison when he’s on the floor. Whether it’s spacing the court, attacking the rim with a soft touch, or letting it fly from deep, Brandon makes it all look effortless. He plays the game with a high motor, sky-high IQ, and a leadership presence that keeps his team locked in from tip to final buzzer.
Brandon finished last season averaging 17.5 points, 5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game. His scoring was his biggest improvement this year, highlighted by an elevation in his three-point shooting and overall efficiency. He already holds the Kentwood High School record for most assists all-time with 349 and counting, and he recently joined the 1,000-point club. He also owns the school’s best single-season free throw percentage at 90% (on 92 attempts), showing he knows how to capitalize when it counts. Named First Team NPSL and earning All-State honors in Washington’s 4A division, Brandon has already made a statement, but he’s far from done.
This offseason, he’s focused on expanding his finishing package around the rim, and mastering reads in pick-and-roll actions to make himself even more dangerous in the halfcourt. He is playing for Seattle Select on the UA Rise circuit, aiming to gain more exposure and lock in D1 offers. The Session 3 tournament at Lake Point in Atlanta is circled on his calendar, and he’s ready to leave his mark on a national stage. His goal isn’t just to be noticed but to dominate and separate himself from the rest of the class.
What fires Brandon up most is playing winning basketball. Whether it’s taking a charge, forcing a five-second call, or getting an and-one bucket in crunch time, he brings intensity and energy that fuels his entire squad. And when facing adversity, he finds other ways to impact the game. Not every night is about scoring, he knows how to defend, distribute, and lead even when his shot isn’t falling. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” And Brandon never shies away from the moment.
Off the court, he enjoys spending time with family, staying active in the gym, and enjoying his downtime with video games. But when the lights come on, it’s all business. He’s wide open to coaches and recruitment opportunities and hungry for the next level.
I assess that Brandon’s court vision, elite decision-making, and offensive swagger make him an instant-impact playmaker. He’s the kind of guard that makes everyone around him better while also carrying the scoring load when needed. His leadership, confidence, and efficiency check every box for coaches looking for a true floor general.
With his combination of IQ, feel, and shot-making ability, Brandon is poised for a massive junior year and a rise in recruiting attention. As he continues to add to his scoring arsenal and evolve his all-around game, expect him to become one of the most complete and coachable guards in the Northwest and beyond. Brandon's potential is sky-high, and he is putting on a clinic, but he has his best basketball ahead of him yet. Stay tuned.
