Keyton Reno is a hard-nosed player on the court—a defensive standout who can guard 1 through 4 and even take on the 5 when needed. At 6’3”, his mix of speed, athleticism, and determination makes him a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor. Keyton causes all kinds of trouble for opponents, but I don’t think his defense is all he brings to the table. He's a steady and reliable scorer around the rim and in the paint, showing he can make an impact anywhere on the court.

Last season, Keyton put up solid numbers, averaging 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks per game. However, knowing his team needed more offense, he worked hard in the offseason to improve his scoring. His effort is paying off. This season, Keyton is averaging an impressive 11 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals per game while shooting a strong 56% from the field. His preseason goal of averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds is within reach. Even more importantly, his team is locked in on their mission to win the district title and make a deep state tournament run.

Keyton's energy is evident, and he thrives in challenging games against top teams. Playing high-level opponents pushes him to take his game to the next level. He loves the challenge and knows that defense, rebounding, and making clutch shots are the keys to victory. His steady focus and love for his scrappy, never-quit teammates give him confidence that his squad can compete with anyone. Their rivalry game against Coffee County is circled on the calendar, and Keyton is ready to lead the charge.

Mentally, Keyton is calm and steady. He doesn’t let adversity shake him and stays level-headed when the game gets tough. Inspired by LeBron James’ words, “You’re not a winner until you win again,” Keyton plays every game with something to prove.

Off the court, Keyton enjoys drawing, letting his creativity shine in a different way. As for his basketball future, he dreams of playing Division 1 but is open to shining at any collegiate level. Though he hasn’t received an offer yet, his growth and impact on the court make it only a matter of time.

Keyton is a blue-collar player who brings shades of Dennis Rodman in his nonstop effort on defense and relentless rebounding. His hustle, toughness, and focus on improving his scoring make him a well-rounded player who’s only getting better. After earning the 2024 9-4 AAAA District Most Improved Player award, Keyton is on track to surpass expectations again this season.

He’s already turning heads early, and the best is yet to come. Warren County fans—buckle up because Keyton Reno is set for a breakout season that promises to be unforgettable.
