For this 6’8 forward, that moment arrived in bold fashion as he made his college commitment official. “It feels amazing,” he said with gratitude. “I’ve really put in the work, and through all the blood, sweat, and tears, I’ve been blessed with this opportunity.” Theppp decision came naturally once he found a place that checked every box with faith, family, and a true sense of belonging. His personal goals reflect the same mindset that got him here: surpassing 1,000 career points, lifting his team higher, and showing that hunger never fades after success, it multiplies. “Now that the pressure is off,” he said, “I’m working ten times harder. There’s no time to relax, it’s only time to go even harder.”

His path wasn’t easy. Along the way came doubts, dismissals, and people who didn’t believe he was built for this level. But he turned every doubt into motivation. From the early mornings to the late-night workouts, he built himself from the ground up, physically, mentally, and spiritually. “The ones who doubted me became my biggest motivators,” he shared. “What stands out is I started at the bottom but ended up above most of those who were once considered better than me.” Through it all, his mother stood as his rock, pushing him to keep fighting, believing, and trusting the process. “She’s always kept it real with me,” he said. “That made me into the player and person I am today.”

Faith has been his anchor through it all. “Me and God have a great relationship,” he reflected. “He’s helped me through so many tough times and made me a better player and person.” When the noise got loud or the path grew uncertain, faith provided clarity, and his resilience carried him forward.

The college getting his commitment is adding a rare talent but two-way force who can score at all three levels, swat shots with timing and power, and change games through sheer will. He’s a “we over me” player who makes everyone around him better. “They’re getting someone who puts the team first,” he said. “A player who impacts the game with energy and heart.”

To the younger athletes chasing their dreams, his message is , “You have to be odd to be number one. Trust the work you put in because the results will show.”

His goal isn’t just to shine on the court but to bring leadership, positivity, and unity to his new basketball family. “I want to be someone who’s reliable and trustworthy in every way,” he said. “This moment represents my family, my roots, and everyone who believed in me since day one.”
