Aiden is a blue-collar stud who has grown into a double-double machine. With his relentless motor and fearless mentality, he has made himself a post menace and a rebounding force who refuses to be outworked. His length and energy make him a nightmare to deal with on both ends, gobbling up boards like candy, protecting the rim, and defending every spot on the floor. His quick hands fuel steals and blocks, often turning into easy points in transition. He plays with the kind of hunger that defines winners, doing whatever his team needs, every possession.
This past season, Aiden averaged 11.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.3 steals, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game, showcasing his versatility as both a defender and playmaker. At the NCSAA Championships, he nearly averaged a double-double with 12.6 points and 9.3 rebounds, all while continuing to establish himself as a defensive anchor. In big games, he delivered even more, scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals against Cross Lanes Christian, followed by 17 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 steals against Heritage Christian Prep. His biggest improvement this year came from stepping into a bigger role, where he built confidence and proved that he can be trusted in big moments to lead.
Aiden knows where he’s headed next. He’s working on becoming a more consistent shooter from outside, which will force defenders to respect him beyond the arc and open up more opportunities to slash, create, and finish. Building strength is also on his radar, giving him the tools to hold his own against physical opponents and dominate inside. Coaches can count on him to bring 110% effort every game, whether it’s locking down defensively, cleaning the glass, creating contact to earn trips to the line, or finding teammates for scoring chances.
PrepHoops recently highlighted Aiden as one of the names set to break out in West Virginia, calling him a “lengthy scoring wing/guard” with instincts to find his spots and get buckets. They believe by midseason he’ll be one of the state’s most talked about scoring options, and his performance with Tri-State Matrix has already validated that. Aiden is ranked #49 overall in West Virginia and #12 at his position. He’s projected to be a top-scoring leader for Huntington as the WVCAT season unfolds, and with his balance of rebounding, defense, and toughness, he is built for a huge year.
What fires Aiden up most is the competitive rush of winning. He thrives in the moments when games are on the line, feeding off the energy of defensive stops, big rebounds, and clutch baskets. When facing adversity, he stays calm, humble, and ready to rise. The best advice he’s received is, “Give it your all every time you step on the court.” he embodies effort, grit, and team-first play.
Off the court, Aiden proves he’s just as committed. Carrying a 4.3 GPA and ranking 29th out of 333 in his class while taking AP and college-level courses, he excels in the classroom. He enjoys track, cross country, spending time with friends, video games, and the outdoors. Sports drive him, but his discipline, academics, and character make him stand out just as much as his game.
I assess that Aiden’s rebounding instincts, defensive motor, and ability to adapt his role make him an immediate difference-maker at the next level. His effort, size, and versatility will allow him to impact any college program, not just as a rebounder and defender, but as a steady two-way contributor who brings toughness and energy every night.
Expect Aiden to continue rising as he develops his perimeter consistency and physical strength. With his double-double potential, leadership qualities, and ability to shine in big-game moments, he is poised to be one of West Virginia’s most complete players and a future college-level standout. Stay tuned
