Blake is a rising weapon who brings finesse, fire, and fearless energy every time he steps on the floor. His game lives around the rim, where soft touch and footwork turn contested looks into guaranteed points. But don’t get it twisted, he’s got a smooth middy in his bag and is steadily growing into a confident long-range threat. His size and feel for the game make him a mismatch problem, and with added physicality and growing confidence, Blake is building into a dominant force. He’s focused on improving his ball-handling and stretching the floor with the three-ball, giving him even more tools to terrorize defenses.
In just nine varsity games this season, Blake put up 9 points and 6 rebounds per game, making an instant impact after being moved up and helping fuel a four-game win streak. That moment validated not just his value to the team but also his grit. His biggest improvement was in how physically he plays, he’s stronger, tougher, and more relentless than ever before. As he gears up for the summer, Blake will be playing with South Sumter to compete and develop, with one personal goal locked in: throwing down a poster dunk and continuing to elevate his jumper. He’s most excited to hit the floor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and step into a leadership role now that the senior class has graduated. He’s ready to lead, win games, and take control.
Fueled by the sheer competitiveness of the game, Blake thrives under pressure and never lets adversity throw him off track. His mindset stays locked in, and when he’s at the line, he plays free with no pressure, just rhythm. That focus comes from a deep love for the game and a commitment to becoming the best version of himself through work. When he’s not putting in buckets, he finds peace in fishing, a hobby that matches his calm and composed demeanor.
I assess that Blake’s size, touch, and growing versatility give him real next-level potential. He can carve out a role early for a college program that values smart shot selection, rebounding presence, and a high ceiling for growth. He’s not just a big body but a skilled and passionate playmaker with plenty left to unlock.
Blake is evolving into a complete player. As he continues to develop his handle, range, and leadership, expect his impact to explode. His work ethic, competitiveness, and love for the game are the fuel that will separate him and keep him climbing. Stay tuned.
