Nickname: “Wildman” – You never know what amazing thing you might get

Judah plays the game with strong court awareness, constantly scanning for open teammates and finding ways to help his team win. He’s dependable with the ball, protecting possessions, making the right pass, and finishing plays with confidence. Whether attacking the basket for a layup or raining a three, he shows poise beyond his age. His speed and defensive instincts allow him to rack up blocked shots and disrupt opponents, while his ability to anticipate plays gives him an edge on both ends of the floor.

This past season, Judah improved his shooting mechanics with help from his dad, focusing on keeping his right foot and shoulder forward for better balance and accuracy. His court vision has grown as well, reading offenses and anticipating passes to position himself effectively. His next step is developing his left hand, both for dribbling and finishing, and adding more control going through his legs in game situations.

Winning the MBA CoreHoops 3rd-grade championship was his proudest basketball moment this year. He looks forward to building on that success by scoring more and continuing to improve. He keeps a positive attitude on the court, follows the game plan, and makes sure to contribute with either a bucket or a good pass. He gets fired up whenever his team scores, feeding off the energy of shared success.

Judah handles adversity with toughness, leaning on his coach or the person who brought him to the game for guidance. His approach to basketball is deeply rooted in his faith; his dad’s advice to “play basketball to please God and for His glory” shapes how he competes. He considers being baptized at six years old the most important decision of his life, and his love for God and family fuels his drive to improve.

Off the court, Judah enjoys playing Fortnite with his dad, spending time with his family, and catching lizards, turtles, and frogs. He also loves training, always looking for ways to get better. With his quickness, defensive ability, growing offensive skill set, and strong faith, he’s laying the groundwork for a future built on both character and competitive spirit.

I assess that Judah’s mix of court vision, ball security, and defensive instincts already makes him a valuable player at his age level. His energy, awareness, and ability to contribute in multiple ways ensure he helps his team every time he steps on the court.

As his left hand and ball-handling versatility improve, Judah will become even more dangerous offensively. His faith, work ethic, and family support give him a foundation that will help him thrive on and off the court in the seasons ahead. Stay tuned to see how high he flies.
