Wyatt is what I would label a master ball hawk as an underclassman he has a mission and role to make plays on balls in the air. Wyatt is very opportunistic in his approach as his timing and acceleration are a huge weapon. He loves making a big impact on the defense by keeping the ball out of the receiver's hands thus is the most important part of the game for Wyatt. Having his teammates supporting him allows Wyatt to be able to make these big plays which ultimately win them games. If Wyatt isn't sniffing out pass plays he finds a way to make big hits on running plays with crazy closing speed mixed with brute force power for those big hits.

Last season as a sophomore Wyatt played in about half of the varsity games due to the college-level talent ahead of him at the corner, but he still managed to tally around 9 tackles. Wyatt's biggest improvement this offseason was just putting in work on and off the field whether that was in the weight room or trying to get better physically which he believed was evident in the week 1 game. In that game, Wyatt had 7 tackles and 2 INTs. Wyatt's expectations for the season are to continue to make big plays whether that be interceptions or tackles, and as the season continues making plays is what he expects to do.

The main thing that fuels Wyatt when he is on the field is fighting for his teammates. Wyatt loves being out there flying around and having fun, there’s nothing better than that.

Wyatt handles adversity by falling back onto his training and the reps they do in practice.

What sets Wyatt apart from other players on the field is communication and IQ, just making teammates around him better knowing they can trust Wyatt to control his role - frees them up to make big impacts in other ways.

Wyatt sees himself playing most places on the college level, and no matter where it will be, he will work to get on the field. That's one thing a coach can expect from Wyatt. What makes a school stand out to Wyatt isn’t all about athletics but also academics and the character of the school.

I assess that Wyatt even as an underclassman getting his first action as a starter to be a big-time playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. On a team loaded with high-level defensive studs, Wyatt has found his place to excel and could become one of the most feared secondary players in his class. Watching him read the picks he made in game one, it’s easy to see the kid is natural and left no doubt when the ball was in the air he was getting the takeaway. I'm super hyped to watch Wyatt continue the trend he has started. If he continues to shine on this level, he is going to make a lot of noise in the state. Stay tuned.
