Jax is an explosive, fierce, and violent playmaker who lives for contact and thrives in the trenches. A sideline-to-sideline disruptor with a motor that doesn’t quit, he’s the type of linebacker that offensive coordinators dread. He’s instinctive with his reads, flowing downhill like a missile in the run game, yet still quick enough to flip his hips and blanket the zone on passing downs. Built like a tank with the vision of a quarterback, Jax keys formations, triggers fast, and never takes a false step. What separates him from the pack is his rare mix of high football IQ, relentless hustle, and violent finishing ability. He doesn’t just tackle, he arrives with fury. A true field general, he brings calm to chaos and elevates the energy every snap he’s on the field.
This past season, Jax had a jaw-dropping 76 total tackles with 34 solos, 6 sacks, 23 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 recovery. The numbers don't lie, but scream dominance. He got stronger, way faster, and more explosive, taking his game to an entirely new gear. His offseason focus is to develop even more speed and strength work. He’s locked in on elevating every area of his craft, especially in pass coverage, where he’s grown tremendously. His motivation is to leave a mark that no one forgets. He plays for more than himself, his family, his brother, his parents, and his teammates fuel his fire. Making plays, setting the tone, and finishing every rep is who he is. He helped push Buena to the state quarterfinals and isn’t satisfied. For Jax, the work never stops.
Before the snap, his mind is already five steps ahead. Scanning formations, barking out adjustments, and reading both the guard and the back, he’s been diagnosing plays since youth football. His eyes are his weapon, and his ability to navigate traffic, destroy blocks, or slip through with finesse makes him a nightmare to scheme against. He’s been undersized most of his life and played bigger kids at every stage, but it never mattered. Adversity never breaks him but builds him. Whether the team’s down 20 or up by 3, he plays with the same fire. You won’t find excuses in him, only answers.
He’s not locked into a dream school or star rating. He’s willing to go JUCO, D2, D1, whatever it takes. He wants a strong education, a fair shot, and a place to outwork everyone around him. Coaches can expect toughness, effort, and year-round dedication. And his advice to the next generation is, "Live in the weight room, run faster than everyone, and never stop pushing."
I assess that Jax brings a physical, fearless brand of football that instantly changes a defense. His ability to dissect plays pre-snap, fly to the football, and finish tackles with authority makes him a potential impact player at the next level. Programs needing a tone-setter on defense will find gold in a player like Jax; he’s built to compete, lead, and outwork any team he joins.
Jax is just getting started. As he continues to improve his coverage skills and adds more speed to his already dangerous frame, he’ll become even more valuable across the field, whether that’s in the middle of the defense, coming off the edge, or flying down on special teams. Expect him to dominate again this season and start turning heads with college programs. His potential is massive, and his drive makes him a serious long-term difference maker. Stay tuned for another monster season ahead. The quest for a state championship is a hunger, and last season's deep run lit a fire that hasn't faded.
