Tyler plays the game with a gritty edge and relentless energy that never seems to slow down. Every possession matters to him. Every defensive stop and loose ball matters. Winning sits at the center of everything he does, and that mentality is exactly why his impact reaches so much further than the stat sheet. Whether he is locking up defensively, creating offense for teammates, attacking downhill, or controlling the pace as a floor general, Tyler brings toughness and maturity to the floor that fuels the entire team around him.

The sophomore season Tyler put together at Kaukauna was loaded with winning basketball and high-level production. Helping lead the team to a 24-4 record and an FVA Conference Championship, Tyler emerged as one of the major engines behind one of Wisconsin’s toughest squads. His season numbers reflected his all-around impact across the board with 15.6 points, 4.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1 block per game while shooting an blisterong 62.8% from the field and nearly 40% from three. The accolades followed the work as he earned FVA 1st Team All-Conference honors, FVA Defensive Team recognition, WBCA All-State Academic Team honors, and WBCA All-State Honorable Mention D1 recognition.

What made the season even more dangerous for Kaukauna was how connected the team became. Tyler explained that everybody fully embraced their roles and understood exactly what needed to be done for the team to succeed. That chemistry became one of the biggest strengths behind the deep run. Personally, Tyler understood his role had evolved dramatically. After being viewed more as a role player on varsity as a freshman, he stepped into his sophomore season knowing he now carried major responsibility offensively and defensively every single night.

That pressure only elevated his game.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the season came during the road win against Oshkosh North when Kaukauna officially clinched the conference championship. Tyler still remembers the emotions inside the locker room afterward. The excitement, the celebration, and the satisfaction of accomplishing one of the team's goals together, the right way. Those are the moments that stay with players forever because they reflect the work, sacrifice, and trust built throughout the entire season.

Tyler’s game is built around versatility and complete floor impact. He takes tremendous pride in his defensive ability, especially his versatility to guard positions 1-4 and even battle with bigger players when needed. His defensive motor, toughness, and willingness to embrace difficult assignments constantly set the tone. But offensively, he also understands the value of being a true point guard and making sure the team flows efficiently. Setting the table, creating quality looks, and keeping teammates involved are all parts of the game he values heavily.

That all-around impact has continued, carrying directly into the AAU season with Elevate. Competing at a high level against strong competition during the live period only sharpened his confidence and overall game even more as Elevate rolled to a huge 4-0 weekend. The opportunity to consistently battle high-level players has allowed Tyler to continue growing while proving his game translates in multiple environments.

One of the biggest improvements Tyler made from the beginning of the high school season until now has been his mindset and confidence as a scorer. He has become much more aggressive offensively while developing confidence to score at all three levels. At the same time, he has continued balancing that aggression with smart decision-making and efficient basketball. Knowing when to attack and when to make the easy play has become a huge part of his development.

Adversity also played a major role throughout the year. After becoming a much larger focal point in opposing scouting reports, Tyler quickly realized teams were now building defensive game plans specifically to slow him down, especially in ball-screen situations. Instead of becoming frustrated, he attacked the challenge directly by staying after practice and constantly working on counters so he would be prepared no matter how defenses tried to guard him. That work sharpened both his confidence and IQ tremendously.

This offseason, Tyler’s focus remains locked in on continuing to improve his perimeter shot while evolving into the best overall basketball player he can possibly become. His goals are rooted in helping whatever team he is part of reach the highest level possible. Winning continues to drive everything.

Every time Tyler steps onto the floor, coaches can expect a gritty two-way playmaker whose motor never stops. A player willing to defend, compete, create, lead, and do absolutely whatever it takes to help his team win basketball games.

I assess that Tyler brings tremendous value as a versatile two-way floor general that impacts winning through defense, playmaking, efficiency, and nonstop effort. His ability to guard multiple positions while also controlling tempo offensively gives him tremendous versatility on both ends of the floor. His combination of toughness, IQ, and unselfishness constantly elevates team play, while his offensive confidence continues growing rapidly.

Tyler is poised to be a highly impactful winning guard because of his complete skill set, defensive versatility, leadership qualities, and relentless motor. His growth as a scorer, combined with his natural playmaking instincts, allows him to impact games in multiple ways without forcing action. As his perimeter shooting and offensive aggression continue developing, his ceiling keeps rising. The combination of toughness, intelligence, defensive intensity, and team-first mentality makes him the type of player coaches trust, as his impact directly translates into winning basketball. Stay tuned.
