Arden is the type of guard that completely changes the flow of a game with his energy, feel, toughness, and basketball IQ. Every time he steps on the floor, the intensity rises another level because he impacts winning in so many different ways. Whether it is creating for teammates, making hustle plays, defending, pushing pace, or stepping up offensively in big moments, Arden’s all-around game constantly fuels the people around him.
What stands out immediately about Arden is how smooth the game becomes when he is involved. He sees the floor at a high level, makes smart reads, and understands how to create easier opportunities for teammates on both ends of the floor. That ability to make the game easier for everyone around him is what he takes the most pride in because he understands winning basketball starts with making others better.
His freshman season at Rockvale opened a lot of eyes, but for Arden, it simply felt like preparation finally meeting opportunity. Adjusting to the speed and physicality of varsity basketball became easier because he stayed committed to improving every day and building confidence through work. As the season progressed, his comfort level and overall impact kept growing, which created major momentum heading into the AAU season with the Stars.
One of the biggest improvements in his game during the school season came mentally. Confidence was something he battled with early, but instead of letting doubt slow him down, Arden attacked it by living in the gym and constantly sharpening his skills. That work completely changed his approach. The more confidence he gained, the more aggressive and impactful he became on the floor.
That growth exploded during the UAA Session II live period against defending national champs Team Thrill. Arden had one of the biggest performances of the weekend, going off 24 points while helping lead the Stars to a statement win. Going into the early morning matchup, he knew the team with the most energy would control the game, so he made it his mission to outwork everybody on the floor. That relentless energy quickly carried over offensively as he attacked openings, delivered big baskets, and constantly applied pressure throughout the battle.
The performance was another reminder of how dangerous Arden can become when confidence, pace, and aggression all connect at once. More importantly, it showed his ability to rise in big moments against elite competition.
Recognition followed the work throughout the high school season, as Arden earned District 10-AAAA All-Tournament honors and 1st Team All-Region recognition while finishing as runner-up for Region MVP. While those accomplishments meant a lot, he viewed them as confirmation of the countless hours he invested behind the scenes. To him, it was proof that hard work eventually shows itself.
Adversity still played a major role in his growth this season. Battling confidence struggles early forced him to mature mentally and trust the process even more. Instead of backing away from challenges, Arden used them as fuel to continue pushing himself every single day.
Now heading deeper into the offseason, the focus is heavily on the weight room while continuing to become faster and more explosive physically. His goals are massive. Winning a UAA championship this summer with the Stars and chasing a Tennessee state championship next season sit at the center of everything, driving him forward right now.
The biggest moment of his journey so far came after earning 1st Team All-Region honors and finishing runner-up for Region MVP because it showed him just how high his potential can climb moving forward.
Every time Arden steps on the floor, coaches can expect intensity, toughness, high-level playmaking, and a player who makes the game smoother for everyone around him. They can expect a fearless competitor whose energy never wanes and whose impact extends across every area of the game.
I assess that Arden brings tremendous value as a high-IQ two-way guard who impacts winning through pace, playmaking, toughness, and nonstop energy. His ability to create offense for teammates while also stepping up as a scorer gives him tremendous versatility. His confidence growth throughout the season unlocked another level in his game, and his feel for the floor continues separating him from many players in his class.
Arden is poised to be a rising guard with tremendous potential because of his IQ, leadership qualities, toughness, and all-around floor impact. His ability to influence momentum through hustle, decision-making, and playmaking makes him a valuable piece in winning basketball. As his explosiveness, strength, and offensive consistency continue developing, his ceiling keeps rising. The combination of competitiveness, unselfishness, defensive energy, and offensive versatility makes him a player capable of becoming a major difference maker at higher levels. This rising star is must-see TV with popcorn in hand. Stay tuned.
