Caden is a confident Sharpshooter who makes his presence felt every time he steps on the court. A skilled shooter with a quick release and unlimited range, he stretches defenses by raining threes both off the catch and off the dribble. His ability to spread the floor opens driving lanes for teammates, while his vision and passing instincts make him a savvy playmaker who gets others involved. More than just a scorer, Caden prides himself on hustling, defending, and doing the little things that lead to wins. With confidence now at the center of his game, he’s stepping into his role as a two-way guard who can create, compete, and lead.
This past season, Caden averaged 7.2 points per game while shooting 35% from three and 53.1%. He added 2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and nearly a steal per game, proving his willingness to contribute in multiple areas. His biggest improvement came in his confidence, allowing him to play freer and take his shots without hesitation. In AAU play, he raised the bar even higher, averaging 19 points per game at the GASO Live Summer Championship while shooting a blistering 53% from beyond the arc (26/49). His AAU goals were to average 15 points and be a great teammate through communication and effort, goals he exceeded while helping his team to a 5-1 record.
The most impactful moment of the year came when his Aledo squad captured the district championship for the first time in school history. That milestone reflected his commitment to giving maximum effort on both ends of the floor and his belief in being a true teammate. Looking ahead, Caden is determined to become an even more confident shooter, elevate his ball-handling, and attack downhill with consistency. Coaches can expect him to bring his trademark hustle, composure, and shooting ability every single night.
Caden thrives on competition, and what fires him up most is going to battle alongside his teammates, feeding off their energy and momentum. When facing adversity, he communicates, stays composed, and trusts the work he has put in. The best advice he’s received is, "Never let a missed shot or mistake affect the rest of the game".That guides him to play with poise and a short memory. Off the court, Caden is grounded in faith, family, and balance, enjoying time with loved ones, playing golf, and strengthening his walk with God.
Caden’s shooting ability, floor spacing, and playmaking make him a valuable asset for any team. His high basketball IQ, confidence, and willingness to do the little things create a reliable guard who not only produces but elevates the players around him.
With growing confidence, improved ball-handling, and elite shooting percentages, Caden is poised for a breakout high school season. Expect him to continue spacing the floor, creating for teammates, and leading Aledo toward deeper playoff runs, establishing himself as a dependable and versatile guard. Stay tuned.
