Davin brings an exciting mix of shot-making, fearless attacking, unselfish playmaking, and relentless defense. His ability to rain in shots from beyond the arc forces defenders to extend, opening driving lanes where he attacks the rim with confidence while creating quality looks for his teammates. On the other end, he takes just as much pride in making life miserable for whoever he is guarding, bringing energy, toughness, and a competitive edge that fuels his entire team.

Davin put together an impressive season at Lewis-Palmer, averaging 10.8 points and 3 assists per game while helping lead his team on an unforgettable playoff run that included a Final Four appearance and an upset of the No. 1 seed. His biggest offensive moments came against Regis Jesuit and Cheyenne Mountain, where he exploded for 20 points in both games, but his favorite memories came from the postseason when his team came together and proved they could compete with anybody. Those moments only strengthened his hunger to chase even bigger goals this coming season.

That same competitive fire carried right into Colorado Live while running with his AAU team. In Lewis-Palmer's win over Vista Peak Prep, Davin finished with 14 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists by letting his defense create his offense. He jumped passing lanes, turned steals into easy transition buckets, buried timely three-pointers against the zone, attacked the gaps whenever defenders gave him an opening, and consistently found teammates for quality scoring opportunities. His performance showed exactly how dangerous he becomes when every part of his game starts clicking together.

The biggest jump in Davin's game this past year came with his basketball IQ and jump shot, but the growth didn't stop there. He has become a stronger defender, a more confident finisher around the basket, and a bigger threat every time he has the ball in his hands. He understands that becoming harder to guard isn't about doing one thing well, but about giving defenders multiple problems to solve every possession.

While most people only see the bright lights on game day, Davin knows success is built long before the opening tip. His offseason is filled with extra hours in the gym, daily work on the shooting machine, and constant repetitions finishing through contact around the basket. Every workout has a purpose because he knows the smallest improvements today can become the biggest difference when the season arrives.

Davin isn't afraid to set the bar high because his goals match the work he puts in every day. He wants to earn PPAC Player of the Year honors, lead his team in scoring, return to the Coliseum, win the conference championship, and ultimately capture the Colorado 5A State Championship. Individual accomplishments would certainly be rewarding, but winning it all with his teammates is the dream that has been driving him ever since last season came to an end.

Big matchups never intimidate Davin because they motivate him. Whenever he plays against well-known names, his mindset is to prove he belongs right there with them while making his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Coaches can expect a smart, composed, and unselfish competitor who never lets the moment become too big, stays focused on winning, and gives everything he has every time he steps between the lines.

I assess that Davin's ability to impact the game in several different ways makes him an extremely valuable piece for any successful team. His outside shooting stretches defenses, his attacking mentality creates opportunities for everyone around him, and his defensive intensity often changes the momentum of games. As his strength, confidence, and overall offensive game continue to grow, his ceiling keeps rising because he already understands how to influence winning without needing the ball every possession.

Davin has all the tools to become one of the top guards in Colorado this season. His complete approach, high motor, improving basketball IQ, and willingness to embrace both ends of the floor give him an opportunity to enjoy a breakout year. Expect him to fill the stat sheet, lead by example, make winning plays in big moments, and play a major role in Lewis-Palmer's pursuit of another deep postseason run and a serious shot at bringing home a 5A state championship.
