Explosive, fierce, and flat-out electric, Cannon is built for impact. At 6’7” and 210 pounds, he doesn’t just occupy space in the paint, he dominates it. A dynamic force on both ends of the floor, he brings a tenacious mindset to every rebound, every block, and every battle under the rim. Whether he’s sealing off defenders for a clean post score or erasing shot attempts with ruthless timing, his presence is felt and feared. Cannon plays with a relentless motor, and when the energy in the gym peaks, especially on enemy turf, he’s the one feeding off it by elevating not just his own game, but his entire squad.
This past season, Cannon averaged 7.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game, anchoring the defense with his improved footwork, timing, and positioning. His biggest improvement was on the defensive end, swallowing up space, disrupting shots, and asserting himself as a difference-maker around the rim. His focus this offseason centers on expanding his game: developing a more confident jumper, tightening his handle, and growing into a versatile playmaker. His biggest moment during the break came with an offer, proof that his work isn’t going unnoticed. Now, he’s chasing more. His fire is lit when his team is in rhythm, silencing crowds with cohesion and heart. When facing adversity, he doesn’t fold but adapts, leans in, and turns setbacks into stepping stones. The best advice Cannon has ever gotten is "Take your time. Slow down". And when he does, the game becomes his.
Cannon’s eyes are on the AAU season playing for Garner Road 3SSB, where his game will only get better. He’s looking forward to raising his profile, matching up against elite talent, and earning more eyes and more offers. His hunger is real, and the stage is just getting bigger.
Off the court, Cannon values his peace. Whether he’s resting, kicking back with family and friends, or diving into interests outside the game, he’s grounded. That calm balance on the floor gives him fuel to go full force when the lights come on. His drive isn’t just about stats but about pride, growth, and proving to himself and others that he belongs at the highest level.
I assess that Cannon is a physically gifted big who brings energy, edge, and an intimidating presence in the paint. His length and timing make him a shot-blocking threat, and his rebounding instincts allow him to control possessions. He plays with fire and composure, a rare blend in a young forward still discovering just how far he can go. With his size, defensive impact, and emerging offensive tools, Cannon offers immediate value to any college program looking to anchor the interior. As his shot and handle improve, his ceiling rises dramatically. He’s the kind of player who can set the tone, lift a locker room, and change the pace of a game through sheer force and effort.
Expect a relentless rise. Cannon is locked in on growth and hungry to prove what he’s capable of. With his expanding skill set and fearless mentality, he’s primed to become one of the most impactful forwards in the 2027 class. His potential is sky-high, and his ceiling has no limit to how high he can fly. Cannon is must see TV. Stay tuned.
Thank you so much for the write up. We are Very proud of Cannon and his growth. Much more to come.!!!
Thank you so much for the recognition, such a great read!!!
As Cannon’s primary skill development coach, I’m thrilled with the progress he’s made so far as well and excited about the potential for growth moving forward. His ability to impact the game on both ends, particularly with his rebounding, shot-blocking, and post-scoring, is undeniable. We’ve put in a lot of unseen hours on his offense/defense, and it’s rewarding to see the improvements in real game time vs the nations best, especially considering his ability to affect the game without the ball in his hands. In terms of skill development, we’ve been putting emphasis on areas like his understanding of the game. triple threat and hi post opportunities.
What excites…
