St. Albans High School, WV

Tyronn is a high-IQ slasher who loves to attack the rim off the bounce with strong handles and sneaky speed. With his length, he is an imposing force and a fierce finisher but versatile enough to slide outside and knock down the long-range bomb. Tyronn is a strong leader and facilitator with strong communication skills. Tyronn is also good at mixing it up on the boards.

This past season Tyronn averaged 6.4 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting a blistering  60% from the floor. The most motivating thing that happened last season that pushed him forward was seeing his team not make it to the civic center. Tyronn is determined to change that this upcoming season. Tyronn is coming into this season with fire in his eyes and an intense desire to kill everything and every team while helping his team to reach the state tournament.

Playing AAU for WV Hustle is where Tyronn began to push hard to prepare for his final season run. He focused on shooting more shots than passing them up - allowing his highly efficient shooting to impact games more. Also, he stepped up more as a leader communicating and holding his teammates accountable as they tried to win tournaments. He was able to win the MSAC Dunk Contest along the way.

What fuels Tyronn the most is when his team locks in on defense while making big plays in tight games, feeding off each other's dominance and energy.

When facing adversity Tyronn tries to look at the positive in every bad situation. He believes in himself and does everything he can to stay positive and help his team through the adversity.

A coach should know Tyronn will bring hard work and dedication with an emphasis on the team first. Tyronn brings a hunger and a passion to continue to develop and learn. Knowing he hasn’t reached his full potential but will lay it all out there 110%.

Tyronn sees himself playing D2 or D3. Since his game is still developing he doesn't want to rule out a higher level. However, he is focusing on becoming the best version of himself.

I assess that Tyronn is just hitting his stride and his potential is high with his skill set, humble attitude, and impact to lead. He will thrive anywhere he lands. He will not stop taking his game to another level and in the end, who knows just how good he will become. I see no limits with this kid, just upside. I'm super hyped to track his journey this upcoming season. Tyronn already holds offers/interests from Penn State Fayette(O), South Georgia (D1)(I), Wesleyan(O), Dean (O), Vermilion(O), Onondaga(O), Lesley University(O), Mississippi Delta(O), Waynesburg(I), Gordon College (I), and AlmaCollege (I).
