University HS, FL

Trinel is the kind of player that every coach dreams of: unselfish, athletic, and fiercely competitive. He brings a blend of size, versatility, and discipline that allows him to impact the game from every angle. He plays the right way, with a strong understanding of team basketball, always willing to rebound, defend, and make the extra pass.. Trinel thrives in transition, pushing the tempo with control and making the correct reads. He can make open shots, attack the rim with either hand, and hit the middy with confidence. But what separates him is his mindset; he doesn’t need the spotlight. He just wants to win and will do whatever his team needs to make that happen.

Over the last year, Trinel’s biggest improvement came in his mental toughness, learning to bounce back from mistakes and focus on the next play. That maturity has elevated his game and his leadership. This offseason, he’s locked in on becoming more of a shot creator, working daily to expand his offensive bag. Playing for Central Florida Heat on the Puma Circuit, his goals were to improve every day and win with his brothers. Next up is the PRO Finals in Orlando, where Trinel is looking to leave his mark. Back at University High, he had his eyes set on a Final Four run and was doing it with the teammates who pushed him to be better. Nothing fires him up more than seeing his whole squad locked in and sharing the ball. He leads by example, preaching a “next play” mentality and staying composed under adversity. Off the court, he’s a multi-sport athlete who also plays football and runs track, showcasing his raw athleticism and relentless work ethic. The best advice he’s ever been given is, “You have to grow as a person to grow as a player”, a lesson he lives by.

I assess that Trinel’s team-first mentality, two-way ability, and versatility make him a perfect fit for high-level systems. He rebounds like a forward, defends like a guard, and fills every gap on the court. Coaches can trust him in big moments because of his IQ, unselfishness, and motor. He’s the glue that holds teams together, and the spark that pushes them forward.

With continued development as a shot creator and the confidence to take over when needed, Trinel is on pace to become a complete weapon. His ceiling is high because his foundation is rock solid. Expect him to turn heads at upcoming events and lead a deep postseason run, he’s built for the long haul and just getting started. Stay tuned.
